Not a rumor, it's now listed on the official GameWorks website. Still haven't heard back from them. I tried on their Facebook page that has over 1,000 likes and it looks like they haven't updated the page in two months.
I already know about both lounges, Insert Coins and High Scores. I went to IC and had a nice chat with the owner Chris. I kinda want to check out HS just because they offer pinball, but they seem like a copy of IC, right down to getting the same exact street artist. It sucks Julie at the Gemini had to close. While I haven't been into the Bemani games in over a decade it was great to see the people come out for the place when I visited. Shame they couldn't keep it going.
With the strip arcades I'd have to say Circus Circus had the best one, which isn't saying much. They had a good selection of games and most of them worked correctly, it was a crap shoot, you'd find an older game that worked good, a newer one that was beaten to shit. NYNY used to have a great selection but of course it got dwindled down to shit. The only thing they had different was Operation GHOST from Sega. Excalibur's arcade also was a major nosedive from when I last visited. They had less games, but more that didn't work compared to Circus.
Since I'm on a pinball kick I can spend days at the Hall of Fame, walk to In-n-Out for Lunch and go to Gamer's Paradise to see if they got anything good. I'd go check out John's "satellite location" he has at Tropicana but considering the conditions of the machines in the main building I wouldn't bother since the Trop's a shithole.
