I saw a pic of their sales floors. A million copies of Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper. I haven't even seen one copy here in the US even though it's available for sale here.

Amazing to see the Vita making it's way towards 360 territory already whilst the 3DS has nearly reached the PS3's sales ALREADY!
As for the Japanese WiiU launch: just imagine if Nintendo had've launched with (something like...) Monster Hunter 4 - with later compatibility/transferable saves with the 3DS version (similar to how Vita & PS3 work together). As far as I know though, MH4 is 3DS only, for now.
I imagine that would have sold an even more insane number of units than the insane units it will undoubtedly sell anyway...

Tool or no, I bought 6 PS2s when they first came out and the first 4 went for over $1k each....
I got these Wii U's at slightly below cost and will usually list them for a penny and let the market do it's thing. Worst case I take one back to the store or give it as a gift and keep one.
I really like the white one better, but most people seem to go for the black ones that's why I went black.

I've been playing razors edge the ninja gaiden game on mine. I find it a little annoying that to switch to gamepad only you need to go into a menu on the tv screen. Like so you can't just pick up the pad and go unless its already set that way-weird really.
You should have picked up 6 copies of Neo Geo X instead. XD

First night of Chanukah was last night and very unexpectedly I got a deluxe edition! I had no idea this was coming. Spent 2 hours updating last night and only got to play a little today.
Now I guess I don't have to worry when TW101 and Bayo2 come out and I don't have a WiiU.

Since I felt this was a nitch item and pretty much only fans of the NG were getting it, I didn't want to do that. I did get one for myself though....
As for the "scumbag" and "dick" comments above, sorry you don't understand what supply and demand are or the fact that something is only worth what someone will pay for it. I didn't have a gun to anyone's head, and if parents want to spoil their rich kids with a thousand dollar toy, who am I to say no to that?
EDIT: Back to the topic at hand, I'm actually closer to opening one of the bad boys up though and playing it b/c after reading this thread it got me excited about the U.
Sadly though, other than Mario, nothing else is jumping out at me to purchase, I hope third parties jump on the controller with new ideas.

I mean, come one, it's like no one has ever been to a sports game or conert that has scalpers? I camped out all night to get those systems, my effort your cost is how I see it. The only person willing to shell out $1k for a video game system that they could buy for $300 in another 30-60 days is a fool who deserves to part with their money.
But again, enough, back on Wii U topic.

Target by me says they have some of the 32GB in stock right now as well. I'm tempted, but I don't really need one
I may go down and look, though. I haven't even played with one for a second. Would be nice to see what all the fuss is about with the Miiverse and etc in store.
