If you think for a second this guy has any credibility or stake in "doing the right thing" in this situation, just go look at his ebay store where he was attempting to sell a US AF3 NeoCD for $1000, exploiting this entire situation for his own personal gain. this was aimed at anyone who saw the $31k transaction anywhere on the web.

fraud is fraud. for example- telling paypal that you didn't receive something when you did so you could do a chargeback on something completely unrelated is fraud.

So Diggerman (Unofficial) was authorized for NGF to release it as well as Warlocks of the Fate (Unreleased)? Also lists WOTF as "Authentic", I'd love to see a WOTF that has Mask roms in it. Please post pics. That would truly show it is an authentic title and not just a homebrew like Diggerman.

I don't have the time nor the energy to address the fountain of lies that are littered throughout Dion's entire post. That I will leave to someone else. But I absolutely must address and correct those aimed at me personally. I am so sick & tired of repeating the same old stories at nausea here. Everything Dion & Chris do is constructed primarily to get a rise out of people, to get under their skin. They enjoy pressing buttons. It grows tiresome for me to constantly waste my time counter attacking to correct the lies and expose the truth. This is why I stopped directly speaking or replying to them for almost 10 years. It was draining my energy. I don't even know why I am going through all this.

I first met Dion on the internet in May of 1998 when he replied to a post I made on one of the rec.games.video newsgroups where I asked about an MVS adapter and he said it was impossible and could not be done. I NEVER called him "daily". There was no such thing as free long distance and very few people had cell phones back then. We spoke on the phone maybe a dozen times over the course of about 2 or 3 years. He did not "teach me" anything. He told me about the ML, which I admit I had no idea existed, and he answered questions I had about games I had not heard of yet or was uncertain which regions / formats they were made available in.

I had done this with the Atari 2600, 5200, & 7800 game lists back in the early 1980's. So I didn't "mention putting it together", I already had one together. I merely asked him to help me make it more complete by reading the numbers on games he had that I did not. (There was no database of video game scans & pictures, at least not to the extent of today, on the internet back then so finding this information was far more time consuming and difficult.

2003 CGE (Classic Gaming Exposition)
At the 2003 Classic Gaming Exposition in Las Vegas, "ngf" claimed that they would be releasing some neogeo prototype games for sale. When the show came, and they set up their booth (very late I might add), they ended up offering conversions of bang bead & bust a move again on home cart, a "joystick version" of irritating maze, and other such "trivialities", but of course, nothing of substance. Then, (and after the show was ending and/or over) they proceeded to take some pictures of a "mocked up scene" of one of the alleged protos having been at the show. This is also the same show where the famous "mooky stains & Clint Gorman" head lock scandal occurred. I knew everything that happened at that show because I had two contacts (Mikhail was one of them) in attendance at the show. I was ready to take a standby flight to Las Vegas IF and ONLY IF one of them reported back to me that yes indeed, REAL fucking protos were indeed there. They were NOT. So again, I was NOT there.

Just prior to going to the show, I emailed Dion Dakis. I emailed him to let him know that I was going to be in Las Vegas and that I would like to meet in person and purchase the protos that he claimed on the neogeo ML that he was selling just last month after Chris allegedly had moved his. I sent the email to BOTH his aol account and his neogeofreak account. The status check on the aol email displays "deleted". (obviously done so by him whereas to pretend that he "deleted it" (accidentally or not) so that I cannot prove that he read it! However, he CAN read the neogeofreak email with no problem and without my knowing for sure. (so he can read that one and yet still claim that he never got it as well which is most likely what he did!)
At the show, I met up with Vinh Treu. This is my second time meeting him. He is a very nice fellow and even gave me a complimentary snk-capcom baseball cap. When we went to have lunch together, he called Dion to see if he was around and available to meet. Dion did not answer and so Vinh left a message. Hours later, only after Dion knew that the show had ended and that Vinh was surely on his long drive back to Los Angeles, he called Vinh back.
Now you see the irony in all this. He purposely mixes up two different events and paints a picture that I was too much of coward to SEE him in person and yet it was exactly the opposite that happened. This is what these guys do. They manipulate and spin everything and the masses actually believe what they say. (sound familiar? today's current presidential politics perhaps?)
