Hello everyone! It's been a long time, but I'm finally getting back into classic Neo-Geo collecting. (we're talking like...a 10 year+ hiatus!)

Anyway, I originally bought my NeoGeo second hand from a local dealer who installed a region/bios in 2002. Over the weekend, I recently dusted it off, and hooked everything up and it worked great!

The only problem is...

I completely forgot what I needed to hold down on the controller in order to boot to the bios screen. ANy help is MUCH appreciated!

Thanks everyone!!

I did some general google searching to see what I could find, and I came across the ABC deal, but had no luck with it. If memory serves me correct, it was something along the lines of "hold down, D, and select on p2 controller"

I'm having zero luck!

You likely have the old debug bios from back in the day. I still have this in my AES as well. It's a great old chip, but it can have issues with the newer games. Good thing the newer games cost a fortune i guess.

Billkwando reminded me of these commands about a year ago.

P2 controller. Select & C goes into menu, and select & A or B adds credits for player 1 or 2. C also exits the menu.

If you hit D with the menu up, you get a menuless pause screen. Hit D to bring the menu back.

Stay away from Memory Card Full in the menu, as it will corrupt your card.
