I don't want him stiffed.

I listed it with uShip to see if we can get it sent out to him if it indeed misses his moving window.

If anyone wants to contribute to the "Get him his damn cab fund", I'd appreciate it.

If we all chip in $20, it should cover it.

No one is under any obligation to help out and I won't hold a gun to anyone's back, but be cool and help the guy out. I'm going to cover some of the cost myself.

Did you mention at some point that we'd each have a little $$ coming back to us due to an over approximation on the customs fees, or something like that? Maybe you can put that towards the Windy shipping?

Yes, but I don't know what that number is yet, if anything. I'm waiting for the price on customs, duty, etc to come back.

If I can cover it, I'm going to (the cab shipping).

I want to thank all of you, for how you've offered to circle the wagons to help me.

It woulda been hella easy for one of you, or any of this thread's spectators, to scoop my Windy.

I offered to sell it straight away, because 1) it didn't even occur to me to ship it (I'm out of money for this project; totally consumed w/ my cross-country move)
2) even if it *had* occurred to me, I wouldn't want to impose.

I'm bummed most of all, that after the camaraderie built in this thread...that I won't be there to spend the weekend w/you guys, and celebrate pulling this off together.

However this shakes out, I want to say again: Thank You. Your (THE GROOP) gesture (Adderall isn't even *in* on this buy, & offered to help!) is very much appreciated by me.

Update:

Last one for a while.

The container is at the shipper's warehouse, ready to load on the ship. We have some more specific details, but tracking/shipment/lading info hasn't been generated yet and when it is, I will post it up.

Other than that, we wait for the container to arrive on June 15th.

I'm working on uShip to get Wataru his cab. I'll update on that front when we get some more bids.

Where did these cabs come from? I have a contact willing to talk them into "speeding up" the shipment process.

That's an awful long time to wait.
