2 Weeks?! I personally wouldn't rush it, I though we were trying to fill a container of 40 cabs? Pretty sure these group buys take a little more time to set up, maybe I'm just being realistic. Anyway, like I said, I have a list of northeast peeps, but I'd have to ask them if Philly is too far of a pickup spot for them. I think it's a 10 hour roundtrip for me, not great, but doable.

It's 60 cabs/container. I'm not in a rush, so if everyone else isn't either, we can try to fill a container. I'm in the process of finding out more details about stock, availablity, pricing, discounts, etc. Stay tuned.

Panda, I am definitely down with you and me hooking something up for getting them to the Carolinas. I am also not in a hurry on this, I realize this whole process takes quite a bit of time, and I just wanna see some cabs make it over to the side of the country so I can stop regretting my move from San Diego, lolDaskrabs, you can definitely count me in for two new astro citys, hopefully mugicha wants to get in on it

when I came to nc from san diego, we did it in 3 days, first leg was 17 hrs ( had a lunch break in there) then 12 hrs, then 10, I'm not wild about long distance, but for cabs, I WOULD def make an excpetion. and Dask, I'm looking for 2 cabs out of this, definitely want an Astro, or New Astro, and will try for an egret 2. if the egrets a no go, I'll do 2 astro, or 2 new astro.

I am definitely interested on getting in on this.
I would be interested in at least 1 cab. Either a Neo or a New Astro. Ideally, the 2 NAC deal sounds really sweet to me, but I'll have a better idea after some price quotes and time frame.

I'd like to see some candy love for the midwest also, hopefully shipping would be better for you guys, than from cali.

Paraphrase from our conversations:
-The truck will make one stop, near me in the Philly burbs. This is the only way we'll get a shipping discount, as more stops = more $.
-Shipping cost should be under $200/cab for orders over 6 cabs.
-He said has a waiting list 20 people long for Egret 2's, so that's no going to be part of this group buy.
-He most likely cannot get Capcom Impress. He doesn't have any currently, and isn't expecting any.
-He has lots of Blast City's in good shape.
-He gets his stuff from Sega in Japan, so you're much more liely to end up with a Sega cab in this group buy.
-He can get the New Astro City cabinets but mostly they are getting pretty old and not in very good condition.
-Almost every cabinet over 10 years old is going to have some burn in. If you get New Net City cabinets the chance of burn in is very low.
-He should be able to take pix and tag machines for individual buyers as long as we have our shit together, so to speak. He has to pull cabs from the warehouse to do this, so we'd need to minimize the number of trips he'd make to do this.
I'll have info about payments and other outstanding issues after we decide actual models and quantities per buyer.

i dont mind if the new astros are a little dirty or scuffed, as long as the intergrity of them is solid and the screen has little to zero burn im ok with
mugicha, we might want to see what shipping 4 cabs to us might be.. just to get an idea

Most are Utah-Philly, meaning stuff he has currently, but they all come from Japan at some point.
