Will either goes to school in CO or lives with his girlfriend who goes to school there. It looks like he bounces between there and Cordova TN. He's either changing addresses a lot, or providing alternate accomplice addresses for recieving items that he plans to steal. If the latter is the case, it's going to be much worse for him because it shows intent to defraud.

I'd say you are correct.

I think his family is in Arkansas, and he lives in Memphis/Colorado Springs.

Okay, here's the deal. I filed a mail fraud claim with the USPS. I told will about this and he got pretty defensive and said that he would return my games and micro. Fine.

well, he did return them, it looks like he never even opened them actually. Anyhow, he package came from a UPS store in fayetteville AR but there was a USPS mailing label in the box, filled out. I'm assuming he was going to send it with USPS but got freaked out. Anyhow, the return address on that label is:

563 ashbury CV
cordova TN 38018

Anyhow, I don't know what the hell is going on here but i have my stuff back which doesn't make me feel better but at least it's all over.

Great news PBC!

I think this thread might be putting a little fear in him, and rightfully so. Now he just needs to contact the other members and return their goods and/or money.

Don't flake out...

File the fraud claim and keep all of your messages including headers...

He can go fuck himself...

If that fuck or anyone here ever scammed me, I'd be at their front door...

Good idea, this way the authorities will be familiar with this guy once the other claims start rolling in.

EDIT: If PBC is under 18, he would need his folks to file the claim. In any case, please have them do it to help those who haven't recieved their stuff/money back.

Just wanted to make sure, you can't go by looking at someones profile.

If everybody's age was correct, we'd have some members in their 90s. :p

Yup, I'm 20 now (kids, how fast they grow up :'(

The fraud claim is in. the USPS contacted me via mail (sent me a post card) confirming the submission. it said they'd be in contact if they had any questions, etc. Anything else to pursue here or just wait now?

I'm glad to see you got your items back.

However, he still owes a lot of money/goods to people he scammed previously. You're doing the right thing by continuing action, because Will got away with scamming for too long. Enough is enough. He returned your items, but what about the $275 he stole from an Atari Age member? And the thievery involving Amiga.org? And the other members here he still owes money/items/shipping refunds to?

Charles,

I'm typing up the latest information I received as we speak. I'll be sending PMs to you, Rob and Chris in a few minutes.

The difference here is that local cops won't do shit about it here. Sad, but true. If someone breaks into a house or shoplifts, the cops will get involved. If they steal over the internet, oh well.

Luckily the US Postal Service has different views.

If I were a thief, I would much rather go down on a shoplifting charge than have to deal with US Postal Inspectors and mail fraud charges though. They work at the federal level and I wouldn't want to get anywhere near that.

You all were doing a really nice job with this. Did anything ever happen?

From talking to Phillip, we were pretty much screwed as far as pursuing Will as we were not personally ripped off. Not enough individuals who were victims of Will were willing or able to help. Either they didn't feel like getting invovled, or they did not keep documentation and too much time had passed.

I don't know why I took so long to reply to this, sorry.

Consider this a friendly bump in case he comes around again, as he has so many times before. He'll probably show up here again at some point, but there are several of us members watching out for him. :eye:

maybe he just did and he wants $600.

I believe you are correct. $600 seems a little steep though. I don't need to pay $50 shipped to know he's a piece of shit.

I'll pay it - depends on the info this dude has.

If i get a current address, pictures of Will, and other info like a phone number...

This dude gets his money.

Here's what I have so far:

Not much - but that gives anyone a heads up of his circle of friends - first few are of Will.

His old Myspace page linked at the beginning of this thread is still working, but it's private of course. Picture looks just like Will.
