where the hell is Jet Set Radio on XBLA/PSN?

they gave us Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Space Channel and then nothing...

seemed like for a while that Jet Set was a sure-thing release

i still keep my DC w/S-video hook-up for that game alone but the DC controller did not age well; so between getting to use a decent controller and Achievements/Trophies that game was my most excited potential release this generation

maybe the poor sales of the shitty first round of games made them reconsider.

I know it's not the same thing, but the Xbox version of Jet Set Future plays flawlessly on the 360. The visuals have held up really nicely as well. I'd love to see a touched up new version for this generation, but at least the older version still plays fine.

It could be a while, it took how long for Stranger's Wrath to get a HD release

I love the jet set series.
What would be dreamy is for them to remake the jsr levels with the jsrf style.
Or a new game.
The original was fun,
but it's always been a little difficult for me to go back after playing jsrf.

The level design/layout of the original is still better, though.

I'd love a new installment. Or yeah, a remake of either of the previous games. But I'd want them on a disc. None of this download-only and the game disappears when we roll up the network bullshit.

Never played it and I have about two or three copies of it
floating around in my collection somewhere for the DC.

I'm not sure where they could go with the series.

Just added levels like what they did to the US version of jsr

It's never going to happen, good business decisions are anathema to Sega. They're still kicking themselves over Bayonetta and Daytona USA online.

Never played Jet Set Radio either.

Am I the only one who finds it funny how nobody calls it Jet Grind Radio? Sometimes I forget that's what it's US release was called...

A likely scenario. Look at Crazy Taxi, even if it's the same music all the time you know the game ain't the same without YAYAYAYAYA

Great series, although I never did beat it.

Play it on the DC. HD remakes are a waste of money. Chu Chu Rocket is the bomb.
