Hey now, they had my main, Asuka, in that trailer...
I main Asuka too. I love her! But I feel Spin on Lili. She's fun to play but the otakus that "main" her are annoying as fcuk. D:
I guess Lili's like Maxi from Soulcalibur to you? Just mash the buttons like a retard?
Namco Bandai will be showing off a new version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 at the AOU 2012 arcade show next week. This new version is apparently big enough that they're tentatively calling it "New Tekken Tag Tournament 2."
According to Namco Bandai's lineup briefing, the New Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be greatly evolved with new elements. We'll have to wait for specifics.
Other Namco Bandai AOU games include:
Dark Escape 3D: a 3D horror gun shooting game that's due for release in July.
Big Bang Smash: an air hockey game
Fishing Spirits: a medal game themed around fishing
Pokemon Medal World: This medal game based off Pokemon is already available
Gundam Extreme Versus Full Boost: The Extreme Versus update is due for arcade release in April. Namco Bandai will hold a stage event with the latest info.
Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4: This latest Wangan Midnight game is already available. Attendees will be able to take part in a tournament
AOU will be held on the 17th and 18th at the Makuhari Messe convention center. The 17th is invite and press only. The 19th is open to the public.
yeah I imagine it's gonna suck. I heard that the PS3 could have done a 100% perfect port but they matched it with the Xbox360 as not to overshadow it.
I own Tekken 6 for both systems and I must say 0n the 360 it had just a slight bit more issues rendering the graphics than the PS3 did but they almost matched up. I'm no console fanboy cuz I think they all suck and I don't keep up the specs but I had just heard that the PS3 had a bit more raw power than the 360.And you believed that?
I'm wondering if they changed the system of the game to where juggles aren't the total complete and entire focus of the whole damn game.
I always thought that tekken 5/DR were very close to tekken tag in terms of gameplay. Juggles have always been part of the series. Tekken tag 1 also had some long ass juggles. Tekken 4 focused on ground game, but it did not sit well for many fans. The mishima's trademark WGF and EWGF were nerfed to hell, and it couldn't even launch without a counter hit. The stages looked nice and were big, but the elevation of some of the stages changed the gameplay for the worse, so it was scrapped in future games. The same could be said about VF3's stages with elevation. The mishimas in tekken 5 were better, but the WGF and EWGF are no longer a mid hitting move like in tekken tag.
The demo of tekken tag 2 is mediocre from what I've heard. It runs at a low res compared to the arcade version. It has tons of aliasing and low res textures. The release is still far away, so they better tweak that shit, or else it is going to look very dated when it gets released. The decade old Tekken tag(ps2) actually looks cleaner than that travesty of a demo.
