Speaking of not writing in books, I was thinking of getting myself an e-reader for Christmas.

Anyway, I'm closer to middle age than I am to childhood, and my sister is getting pretty close to 40, but my mother still likes to provide a childlike christmas experience for us. She goes way overboard too, and if I don't provide a detailed christmas list, she gets me a few chocolates and an envelope of money equivalent to what she spent on my sister. It's strange.

PS - I only own TWO games, total. For any system. Can you believe it?

I remember when I got this for Christmas. My parents hid it behind the tree so that it was the last present I opened.

Best Christmas ever.

that's tough to believe. What games are they?

Skyrim for 360 and a Deathsmiles pcb.

I don't have a Christmas list anymore. I'm more concerned with making sure my kids get their own lists filled,
Yeah, this, although for me it's nephews and niece rather than my own kids. Usually now, I forget to ask anyone for anything. Mostly with my family, it's about the kids.

Teddy Ruxpin was the shit. I had almost all of the tapes and even the Christmas outfit for him when I was a kid. I just got my goddaughter a My Little Pony that's pretty much the same thing, but it has the stories already on it. Sucks you can't get more books for it, but she's two, I think she'll love it since it's stuffed and sings. I'll agree with Ghost Dog, as fun as Christmas was a kid it's a lot of fun seeing the looks on kids faces when they get something they really like. Last year my nephew flipped when he unwrapped the train set we got him. "Wow!! That's what I wanted!!!"

I never really had a wishlist of some sort as a kid and was grateful for all of the things I received during the holidays. Can't say I'll start now. As others stated, it's more about the kids that are around for the holidays.

It's my son's first Christmas, and it being magical is all that matters to me.

Am I the only one who doesn't want anything?

I've been trying to think of a gift for my sponsor kid in Sierra Leone. It's going to be a little late, but I still dunno what to get her...if anything, $100 directly to her family sounds good...equals 430,000 bills in her country's currency, about what her family makes a year.

House next to you for sale? I'll move in.

All I ask is you ignore the occasional scream coming from my house. I'm watching horror movies. I Promise :)

I don't care what I get. Happy to have a few days off and see the fam. Not working is the greatest gift for me.
