I have been dying for 'I am Alive' to come out for about 3 years now. Endless delays, never cancelled. I really want to play what seems to be a different take on survival horror. Unbeleviably great looking trailers that get the point across without giving away too much. Im superstoked for its potential Dec release, but im not holding my breath.

Plus as a bonus it takes place in Chicago! Hometown bonus! I already know the map!

....But seriously- any others you guys are looking for?

It's not delayed really, it's cancelled, but I REALLY wanted Project HAMMER to become a real game. It looked like an interesting concept and would have been something very different from Nintendo, but it was dropped.

For, like, six years, I was really hyped for the Highlander game they were making for Xbox 360, PS3, and (especially) PC, and they cancelled it a few days ago. Dammit!

I notice the 2008 trailer looks a lot better than the 2010 trailer.

The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy Vs XIII, and Metal Gear Solid: Rising are the only ones I've been waiting for. I'm so close to just giving up on all of them.

I'm pretty sure Metal Gear Rising will be out next year. Konami is ready to release some more details on it soon.

Same with the Last Guardian. I bet we'll see it holiday 2012, or early 2013.

To me there's only one answer to this question:

Half-Life 3 (or Half-Life 2 Episode 3, whatever).

Shenmue 3 and Earthbound 'Zero' as some call it; I got a repro cart made, but I always wanted something official.

Biohazard 1.5 would be awesome... but will never see the light of day, unless Capcom decide to release it as DLC or maybe an extra on another full Biohazard release. Still, would be cool as fuck :D

Aliens: Colonial Marines - finally arriving next year, but it's been on the cards for donkeys years.

Half-Life 2: Chapter 3... when are we likely to see the continuation of Gordon Freeman's adventures??? :spock:

I thought they cancelled that game at least a year or two ago. But either way I was also interested in it after reading an article about it in Game Informer about three years ago.

Also looking forward to Aliens: Colonial Marines, finally coming out after being announced at least four years ago.

MGS: Rising is probably my most anticipated game along with Bioshock Infinite. I suppose its possible the game has been having problems and thats why they haven't said a lot about it, but they also just announced we will hear more information about in December.

Remember when the PS3 had just released, and there were tentative titles on the horizon from Konami?

Gradius VI, specifically.

Of course it's never coming out, at least not in this generation, but that was a bit of a cocktease.

Metroid Dread

Was it cancelled? It just seemed to vanish a few years ago. I want another 2D Metroid.

it was one thing with the whole Duke Nukem Forever b.s.(and it ended up being as terrible as I thought)... but the HL series never disappointed... except in how long it would take between installments.

they have been making us wait a ridiculous amount of time this time though. Awhile back, fans were camping out in front of Valve's HQ demanding the new addition. I don't know what the hold up is this time... but its almost getting to the point where I'm giving up hope.... almost.

It'll definitely come out eventually. For all we know, they could be almost done... Valve doesn't talk about games until they're nearly finished.

I suspect that Episode 3 just really got away from them, and wound up becoming a full fledged sequel of its own. I bet they just kept on working on it, like an author that set out to write a 300 page book but wound up writing a 1000 page book.

I thought of another vaporware game though: Back in the PS1 days, I really liked the two Fear Effect games. Eidos was working on a sequel for PS2 that was supposedly very close to being done, then shitcanned it.
