Surprised there's no thread about this game yet.

In case you're not aware, here's the website:

It's a gorgeous 2D XBOX Live Arcade fighting game scheduled to be out sometime early next year. The production is very open to fans so everything they put into the game is being shown in vids and what not. The animations look fantastic and the fighters look extremely unique.

Anyone else looking forward to this game as much as I am?

I saw it at NYCC. Looks OK. I didn't want to stand in line to play. I let my friend do that. I haven't talked to him about it yet to see how it is.

that opponent looked cheap as hell!

still there is something to be said for a move that lets you put your opponent into a bag then have your team come over and kick it.

Looks kinda lame to me. I think I'll stick with KoF XIII (if it ever comes out).

I interviewed voice actress Cristina Vee last month and talked to her about this for a bit and it looks pretty solid to me! It's at the 8:30 mark.

I usually hate on the girly kinda anime fighters where the character select screen is more like a imaginary girlfriend select screen..... but this doesn't give me that creepy vibe and the engine looks very interesting, plus the GGPO integration :)

Game has interesting visuals. Reminds me of my 5-year-old nephew's cartoon shows.

I'm sick of the game's visuals being called Japanese and/or anime.

too bad it doesn't sound as good as it looks... that 'music' is awful..

The artwork is nice, but I'm not into the 50 hit combo but only takes 1/4 life bar fighting engines. I'd be bored after the first fight.

It honestly looks like a much cartoonier Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The pace of the game and the combo engine look largely the same - off-the-grounds seem to play a big role.

If it ends up as a polished, non-glitchy final product, I may pick it up.
