I got a modded X'eye off him and it's fucked.

I dealt with him a couple times when I first joined and everything was cool. Saw the trouble he got into and he seemed to work it out.

Gave him the benefit of the doubt after he came back and seemed to do some smooth transactions.

Got my system and it wouldn't read CD games because he didn't put the thing back together right. Finally put t back myself after a few PMs and the CD drive was busted. He never even tested it before he shipped.

Dudes a scammer or at least a sloppy modder.

Should have have went with my gut.

Fuck him.

I really don't know why anyone would deal with this guy. I dealt with him for almost 2 years trying to get a refund...why anyone would do another transaction with him is just mind blowing. The only way I got my money back was by calling his local PD. As soon as I told him I did he sent the money a few days later.

I paid 3 payment installments on eight english reproduction games and the transaction went well but had a few delays because he was making better repro labels for some carts and gave me two free games for the few weeks delay and package arrived.

I then bought a GEN2, MCD2 and 32X and I contacted him asking him to mod them into a Sega Neptune to play all region carts and CD's and so I sent all parts + a $150 check to him to do it. Once the setup was completed and tested he then said that he would send me pics before he ships it and so I waited a few days for delivery but days turned into weeks to months and I emailed/pmed him alot to check up on this situation.

Until I read about his bad rep a few days ago it made me realize to never deal with him again. All I want is the items I paid for.

I called the Riverside, CA Sheriff.

I gave them all of Jose's info as provided here.

Shawn, you need to contact your local Police Dept. and file a report ASAP. Be truthful and tell them exactly what happened.

Have PayPal records and private messages handy.

As soon as you do that, San Jose will contact the Riverside Sheriff and they will get him in the office for questioning. And may even charge him depending on what your laws are concerning mail fraud and theft.

This is entirely on you right now - I made a report with the Riverside Sheriff - you have their number.

I'll have to wait until my mom comes home from work to make a call to our local PD and possibly have an officer come over since I can't talk on the phone myself.

The only thing I remember is making the deal with him in Feb and then when the setup was completed I last heard from him was on 03-08-2011.

I don't think that there is anything that I can do about this and I don't know if modding a console and making reproduction games are illegal and I don't want to get in trouble myself. Should I request and full refund of over $150 since he asked for an extra $75, $85 or $90 to have two repro games made? I don't remember the exact price except for the Neptune mod but I do know it was over $150 though.

I did discuss it with my mom and she said to email him one last time and give him one warning and if he doesn't either send my package or send a full refund or I will call his and my local pd's on him and take him to small claims court which I rather avoid.

Does anyone live near him on these forums who can go to his place and ask for my package or check/cash refund and then mail either to me? I'll definitely pay back postage/shipping costs.

I'll discuss it with my mom again and prepare to call our local PD and like Tonk said be truthful. I only remember that the deal was made in Feb which items were sent with checks and Mar 3rd is when the setup was completed, two games sold to me and also was the last I heard from about sending the package out to my home address.

Modding a console isn't illegal, neither are reproduction games. Don't bring up the legality of either. Don't say more than you need to.

Hey Jose,

Any news on sending out my package containing a Sega Neptune console with games of King Colossus (GEN) and Magical Pop'n (SNES) because I have been patiently waiting on their arrival since we last spoke on 3/8/2011 which has now been 7 months and I wanted to know if you're going to send my package out so that we can complete this transaction deal. I know that I paid over $150 by checks and if this deal can't be finished up would I be able to recieve a full refund and you keep the items but either is fine as long as it works?

Please reply back in a day or two or I'm afraid that I will have no choice but to call our local police departments to settle this civily and I rather avoid this and I'm not trying to ruin your reputation either but it looks like the damage has already been done. I urge you to send the package or a full refund of $240 in cash. I Paid like $90 for two games if I remember correctly. Please reply asap!
