And once again, the game is total doujin fodder unfortunately. I wonder how many japanese guys are already wanking to the idea of the big strong amazon locking them in a face to crotch figure 4 and farting in their faces.....and there is nothing they could do about it because she's SO much bigger and stronger than them. :drool_2:

I wish I didn't get off to this shit. I really do. I wish I could be normal and just wank it to some nice T&A. But no.

I am just aware of DFO, I do not actively play it.
but
This game is gonna need a lot more than that trailer to get me interested.

Care to elaborate on your jaded nay-saying or are you just feeling extra sad today?

I see an amazing multi-player beat em up with gorgeous fully animated art and a top notch score.

I know it's already be quoted three times, but this is too good to be true. Made by the guy who did the Capcom D&D Beat em' Ups, art and music from Vanillaware four players and will also run on the Vita so I can take it on the go? Sold. I can not wait to see more of this game. It looks amazing and I hope it will play amazing. This game and the rest of Sony's show has tipped me into getting a Triple. Hopefully when this comes out I'll have upgraded to an HD TV. I was interested in the 3D Branded Playstation TV but not for 500 bucks for a 24 inch. I'll see about getting a larger non 3D HDTV for the same price.

Not only can you play it on a PSV, theres a good chance you'll be able to go online and play co-op with people who are playing it on their PS3.

According to what I've been hearing anyway...

For serious. What a party pooper.

Yeah, you'll probably want to pick up an HD TV to go with your PS3. Mine looks like ass on my CRT. I can't even read most of the text in the PlayStation Store. I have my 360 plugged into my PC monitor since it has VGA, but I obviously can't do that with the PS3 which has HDMI.

If your PC monitor has a DVI input you can go HDMI -> DVI.

That's how I have my triple hooked up right now. Then you just need to output the sound through the standard AV cables.

Really?! I figured the PS3 would derp if I tried outputting the audio and video through two different connections. I'll try it out. Hopefully the PS3 can do 16x10 though...

I'm already having problems with a lot of my 360 games. Some games are just way too small with the games being in forced widescreen. I'm glad they have it that you can download the demos first. I loved Bayonetta but I can't see it that well on my CRT. I also stayed far away from Mass Effect because of the problems people were having reading the text. The bullshit people say that if you own a next gen console you should already have an HDTV, but besides mine bleeding reds from time to time, it's still running like a champ. I'll wait for it to die before I step up. I also like to throw my old systems on as well and I've played some older games on HDTV's and they look and play like ass.

Only works on monitors that support HDCP. Or else, just buy a HDfury.

Sony dislikes VGA for some reason.

Jaded?
I'm just not seeing the appeal of this art style. It looks terrible. It reminds me of some browser based games. Is the frame rate supposed to look terrible? is that like their thing?

Not like that Korean chunk of shit you just recommended, right?

The art style of this looks fantastic. It may not be to your taste, but it is amazing.

You know the vast majority of the time I totally disagree with you guys taste in gaming so I was expecting a massive flame of this game when I came here to start a thread about it.

I am very surprise we are on the same page here anticipating its release. Didn't think to many of you liked this kind of theme. Yeap this is a DAY ONE purchase for me and I rarely purchase on day one, more so day whenever.

Would have been nice if this was the DnD license under part 3 though. Fucking love capcom DnD especially SOM. Only draw back is these types of games MUST be played multiplayer with a full party to be fully enjoyed.

This is the only time since MGS 4 I am happy I bought that PS3

It's more than just DnD or a beat em up to me.

It's pure 90s. Literally this is something I would have dreamt up in the 90s.

It feels like DnD: SOM, Princess Crown, and Secret of Mana had a threeway and Dragons Crown was borne from it.

I understand the gripe with art direction or fluidity of animation, but I just don't care at this point, just like I didn't care about DnDs shortcomings back in the day...it was a 4 player co op beatem up and it was good times.

....and this game is pretty much the same thing except the plot will likely be full of pervy undertones, the women are hyper sexualized, and the men's masculinity is over exaggerated with huge torsos full of muscle and tiny legs.

I still don't care though....once again I can team up with my bro like in the old days (where I played the Dwarf Berserker and he was the Human Warrior) and just tear shit up.

It's gonna be awesome.

The games creators are saying the artistic style is supposed to be less anime and more "american"...like the "Heavy Metal" series.

I'm definitely seeing the Heavy Metal inspiration in that trailer though....fucking huge, wobbly bewbage everywhere...it's totally far out, man.

I hope the last boss is nothing but TITS. Like a demonic tree that grows burning tits instead of fruit or something.

Spring 2012 can't come soon enough.
I should buy a sportscar, start snorting cocaine and banging hookers to make the time fly by a little faster.

We shall conquer this game together as brothers.

I look forward to this arrangement.

I need something to play to tide me over until this game comes out. It's fucking killing me. I haven't been hurting this bad for a non fighting game since the Tenchu days.

Fuck Spring 2012 is a long way away:very_ang::mad::blow_top:

WAR IS ON WITH DIABLO 3 SUPPORTERS! BEGONE, INFIDELS! And accept Dragon's Crown as your one and only saviour of multiplayer fantasy! :mr_t:
