Also, MGS is available on PSN so Nintendo can't stop Konami from rereleasing that build of the game as many times as they want.
Nintendo has rights to Twin Snakes, but not standard MGS.
Personally, I think Kojima should remake Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 with current gen hardware.
It would actually be nice to play as Solid Snake again, in the missions that made him the famous commando he's respected as in the MG universe.
MGS-Solid Snake, but poisoned and living on borrowed time.
MGS 2-Only half the game. I have NO problem with Raiden whatsoever, and am looking forward to Rising, but still wanted to keep playing as Snake.
MGS 3-Naked Snake.
MGS 4-Old Snake.
Now, I understand that it's an evolving world and in terms of gameplay, it's all the same. But Kojima emphasizes game narrative and storytelling as a part of the MG core experience.
That being the case, as he wants me to appreciate the characters and events, I feel I'm entitled to my desire, as a fan, to be able to play as Solid Snake more when he was in his prime.
Also, I've never heard Kojima state he hates Twin Snakes. I've heard he hates the NES versions of MG and Snake's Revenge. It may be true. He may, in fact, hate Twin Snakes. I've just never heard about it.
