Yeah it really doesn't feel like it's been that long. I think it passed so fast because I truly didn't care about this generation's games or consoles. I think altogether I own maybe 8 Xbox 360 and PS3 games total and I regularly play about 3 of them hahaha. It just passed me by.
The end of this video has some nasty ass unblockable trap with Nina. Namco get your shit right while you still got time. The damage in these juggles doesn't seem bad but the potential for cheese is definitely there. I have so many nasty little ideas.
Get Asuka the fuck outta here plz!

It's hard to keep playing VF when everyone around you loses interest. I love the game, still have a copy...but you
can't just play Quest mode all the time.
Judging by the last combo the variation in combo's is going to be limitless.
Leo+1+2,2, d+2 B![TAG], KazuyaEWGF(

,
+4,3[TAG], KazuyaTGF
(,n,

Leo's,
+4,3 is not a juggle starter but he is able to tag out regardless. Hope this is a feature that sticks.
Edit: Taking a closer look at that combo I think Kazuya's last hit may be a DTGF(,

+1)
I still like Tekken 4 a lot. I know I'm the only person on earth that will say that. Loved that one.
) listed below...I actually liked 4 a hell of a lot. Probably more than TAG. I have my reasons.
MCP's last post reminded me why TAG had to change.
"bdc, bdc, bdc, d+4, bdc, bdc, bdc d+1, d+4, bdc bdc bdc"
The game encouraged turtling. When Namco saw how their fighter was being played, they cut down the distance covered by the backdash and
introduced walls. Pretty much forcing players to "fight". Unfortunately it turned into a massive poke-fest, but it was a step in the right
direction.
Don't get me wrong, I like TAG, but there was a lot of shit that could only be dealt with in one way "BDC". You would have read in the
thread about the mind games from a blocked Jin EWGF, your best bet was to force him to whiff, then look for an opening.
A lot of good memories and a lot of frustration. The one thing I learnt from Kenbu (Korean player) to use King effectively you had to
partner him with a character with high evasion like Lei or "bdc" and hope for a whiff.
As for TAG2. The only characters in the cast that have not returned are Kunimitsu and Jun. Jun's moveset has been
given almost entirely to Asuka Kazama so it's doubtful that she'll return.
With the reveal of young Hei & the announcement of the largest roster yet I wonder if they will have variants of
more characters. I can only imagine finally having Marshall and Forest in the same game with different movelists, or seperate versions of
Jack. There aren't a whole lot of characters they can surprise us with now, so we know pretty much what to expect but I'm really hoping for
them to play differently from their current counterpart.
My only issue with bringing back those characters is that I absolutely hate cloning in games. Capcom is great for
having a great portion of their fighters sharing the same attacks, Namco has been trying to avoid this since Tekken 4.
There is nothing Jun has that Asuka does not. There is nothing Michelle has that Julia does not and Ogre is an incarnation of multiple
characters much like Jinpachi and Azazel(to some extent).
If they can somehow think up an entirely new moveset for the oldies including Kunimitsu then I'm all for it. I had the same issues with
A.King but Namco didn't make him a clone... he's still very redundant however.
Also for the last time Leo is a girl!!!!
Tekken vs Virtua Fighter would have made much more sense however Sega has this "I'm better than you" attitude.
Namco has approached them at least 2 times with the idea of a crossover series and Sega has turned them down each time. Despite their
differences they have so much in common and I'm sure the compromises would be a helluva lot less than a 2d game vs a 3d game. Oh well Sega
had their chance and if VF:FS doesn't take off then it'll be their own fault cuz every other fighting game series is enjoying a good ol'
time with this resurgence of fighters because of smart moves.
The point:
I care more about this announcement than I do about the Capcom crossovers.
I think the fact of the matter is that I don't care about 2D characters fighting 3D characters.
Tekken vs. Virtua Fighter would have been a more natural paring. Or maybe Tekken vs. Dead Or Alive, since VF is so
very deep and would be dumbed down in play style to the point where the only thing that defins it as a VF IP is the use of the character
skins.
But no one would care about those crossovers as much as SF vs. Tekken.
I will buy Tekken Tag Battle 2. The first one was a ton of fun.
When they announced VF:FS the mood of that place changed a bit but now with SFxTK and TTT2 their anger seems to
have shifted more towards Sega. A lot of them were saying that TTT2 was the nail in Sega's coffin which I hope isn't true.
Hmm..if their going to have a young Heihachi it makes me wonder if we'll be able to play as Bob before he became a
walking heart attack.
Who gives a fuck about fighting game storylines anyway.
) no interviews, no hype, no build up, just the matches, it would be http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/01/12/tekken_tag_character/
The Female Luchador has been given a name. It's JC. Article explains Heihachi young appearance. His company has found a medicial discovery
and it allowed Heihachi to turn back the biological clock.
- Kuma and Panda currently have a seperate location in the character selection screen. It is rumoured they have
different movelists.
- It is possible to pick the same character twice. There's a video of someone picking Jaycee doubles. I hope this gets changed.
I changed my mind it'll be Jaycee/King and Zafina/Dragunov
Team Luchador and team WTF!!!![]()
Would people care if Devil Jin and Jin merged into one character who could change form? Remember Kazuya's/Devil's
special Tag?
Are you sure if you can pick the same character twice? Do you have the link of the video of this?
Spinmaster X, Even though that VF and Tekken are 3d games, do you think they are similar enough to be put into one game? 'currently' aren't
each of the games systems too different from one another?
I know that CVS2 worked, even though the SNK characters were undercut. There still was enough commonalities to make that game happen.
I mean granted that they (I mean Tekken and VF) will have a lot more in common than SF x Tekken or vice versa, however I just get the
feeling that we may need a VF6 or that real shake up that VF needs (in order for the game systems to be marry-able) before this dream
project of Tekken vs VF can be a reality.
Spin, I gotta disagree with you on that. I love Jun as much as you do but Asuka's my mainstay! Seeing Jun vs. Asuka would be kinda cool.

Harada: "Fighting games are very severe as half of the players will loose automatically. SFIII was almost bringing that to 80 per cent. It was seen as the best 2D fighting could offer but it was very much exclusive to a few. You pay 100 yen to play and loose. That became more and more apparent in the genre and the result was predictable. Tekken survived because it's a game that, in a way, is almost a parody of a fighting game. I was often criticized about that fact when we made Tekken 1 to 3; it was possible to win by just doing silly things on the controls. You could inflict massive damage with just one move, and people who were winning and were then defeated because the other player did such a move felt annoyed. You still find this in Tekken 6 when players were clearly leading the fight but lost because of rage. From a good player’s point of view, this is seen as a potential accident. From a more novice player’s point of view it leaves them the possibility to defeat good players. You may play 20 times and loose 19 but there is still a good chance you win at least once. "
