So I started wondering about this earlier today.....I have a few in mind, but what would you say the prettiest game on NES is...

I'm thinking possibly a Mega Man game or maybe Little Nemo...

Batman is pretty amazing looking. That intro is astounding for an NES title

The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game was pretty good-looking, and ended-up using the NES's graphical limits to its advantage with a sort of gritty appearance in the pixel-based backgrounds and characters.

Crisis Force for the famicom (I can't upload a picture for whatever reason, but it is a beautiful almost 16 bit looking shooter and looks more like it belongs on the pc engine than the famicom/nes

Nobody mentioned Battle Toads yet???? What about Shatter Hand? I remember being very impressed by both of these back in the day.

Dare I say it, but Street Fighter 2010. Very detailed, futuristic, post apocalyptic looking backdrops.

I remember Rescue Rangers being among the best-looking, but it's been a long time since I've played it. I agree with the Ninja Gaidens and Castlevanias being up there. I'd add Faxanadu which looks a lot like Castlevania.

2 PC ports which looked very good on the NES: Defender of the Crown and The Immortal
