Its supposed to be 100% original but the main character already screams "Kaede" from LB. So far this game looks like Last Blade mixed with BlazeBlue with extra loli-anime-otaku on top.
But anyway, if it has a good system I'll still give it a whirl. I'm so desperate for 2d I'll play anything. Even if I can't stand the look of current anime, anything that doesn't look like you know what game is fine by me.

It looks exactly like MBAA.... which I miss, but.....
And I hope the character select was a misprint/proto cos that *is* MBAA, no?

The game seems OK, but I'm not excited for some reason. 
No one makes decent 2D fighting games anymore, show me a company / group other than Capcom and SNK that can pull off a fighting game close to Street Fighter III or Garou and maybe I can force myself to try it.
Until then, I'm not impressed.

I'm not excited in the least bit either but whenever I hear about a new 2d fighter I get interested.
Maybe it uses the same kind of select screen. The game is still kinda new.

that "100% original cast of characters" line is seriously killing me because after looking at that tiny lil roster picture I can clearly see designs from other games.

I have 0 issue with women in fighting games, but it annoys me when the selling point of the game is its Doujinshi potential. Also why I hate Arcana Heart...that and that game just sucks on multiple levels.

Hibiki is the little girl in yellow with the sword and the big guy reminds me of tager.
about that link. I don't think I could stomach that game for more than an hour. That's just too much for me to handle.

Lord knows what that name is supposed to mean. I was looking around different forums for info on this game and someone brought up that "In-birth" could also be transliterated from Japanese as "inverse" which wouldn't sound as stupid. so "Under Night: Inverse" still doesn't make sense but it works I guess.

thats just japans bizarre obsession with german sounding names.
But I mean, he looks worse than the hair on the SvC Guile Sprite.
I hate to rag on this game before playing it, but I've never been a fan of the Melty Blood style game. It's almost also all down to aesthetics rather than the game play being bad. For fuck sake what happened to "round 1 fight?"

Yeah Japan loves them some damn German/Germanic names. I think Japan thinks Nazis were cool. Not saying Germans are nazis but they seem to like that style of dress as well as giving people and game titles Germanic sounding names. "Xenosaga Jenseits von Gut und Böse" LOL.
You can't say "round one fight" You gotta switch out the "round" and "fight" with something cooler. In Japan you didn't know that you can make up stuff in English?

The female characters in this don't look like fighters. These lolitas seriously turn me off.
Bring in battle-damaged Lara Croft.
Seems like the only people who want to develop 2d fighting games anymore are unfortunately the ones who cater to the Master Tasuke type crowd.
