Aside from abusive parents, I can't see where taking a photo of your kids crying beneficial to the situation while selling something of theirs. I'm all for disciplining children. But if this is real, there's no reason to humiliate the kids online other than to stroke some internet ego.
Kids are byproducts of proper parenting and moral decisions. There is nothing to be gained from this incident that would teach them a lesson about their mistakes. Stating to the public that you're also taking their savings isn't going to help attract prospective buyers of the toys (most likely parents or grandparents).
