#1.) Remake of MG1 and MG 2 with current gen graphics and technology. Those levels, enemies, bosses and story would be awesome interpreted in an MGS style presentation. Hearing Hayter as Snake in this setting would be sublime, and we'd actually get to, I don't know, play Solid Snake in a Metal Gear Solid game. Not old Snake, not Raiden, not Naked Snake. I have nothing against ANY of these characters (the hate on Raiden is unwarranted, IMO,) but I'd appreciate an opportunity to play that character, in his prime, in the stories that made his legend.
#2.) Remake Ghost Babel with current gen graphics and technology. It is an amazing GB Color game, maybe the best game released on that platform.
#3.) HD remake of MGS1. Either version is fine. I enjoyed the original and I enjoyed Twin Snakes. Both were good games. The only REAL problem with Twin Snakes is that the enemy AI is a bit too unbalanced for the more restrictive zones of MGS 1. The areas aren't as wide open. But I really liked playing MGS 1 with all those MGS 2 gameplay elements, overall. I even liked the cutscenes. But I also understand why some people don't like them.
For my part, the Twin Snakes cinemas with Solid Snake acting like a superhero go against the vulnerability and everyman quality of the character. On the other hand, it makes it more believable that he could go toe to toe with some of those ridiculous boss characters.
I also prefer the voice acting in Twin Snakes a fuckton over the original. It's WAY better overall, IMO.
