I don't think so, if you watch the replay Calvin, with full control of the ball lands on two feet, goes down on his knees, his ass hits the ground, and he even puts his left hand down, all before letting go of the ball. The rule is to take the completion through and that sounds complete to me. BS call that took away an awesome finish.

And the Cowboys, I've been saying it for years, they need new coaching staff something ridiculous. Jerry likes weak coaching so he can make more calls but guess what, that doesn't help on game day. Terrible calls on plays and a lack of discipline cost us that game, no question.

Jerry isn't such a bad guy, is he? I mean, you can talk about upper management and I doubt you'll get fired, right? Not everyone has that priveledge, but then again having a good man in charge is probably better than having a bad one that lets you criticize him.

I'd agree with this assessment if the review of the play didn't bear out the same result. According to the letter of the rule, from all accounts I've heard on the subject until now, the refs called it as it's specified in the rule book.

I DO feel they should have just overlooked it, though. The guy had control. It was a touchdown. The Lions should have won that game. Shitty way to take the L.

It has nothing to do with grammar and more to do with psychology. It doesn't bother me that you envision yourself as a member of the Cowboys organization. I want to see people video game nerds say the same thing when they talk about video game companies. :p

Am I the only one, who even before the season opener, thought Sanchez was overrated as hell ?

The overall media talking like the Jets are going to give the Pats a run for the division. Please.

You are not the only one, sir. I'm not a guy to go solely on stats, but when you look at his, you really wonder how he is a starting QB. When it's a screen play or play action, he delivers but once you get into long yards, he's off a lot of times. He may turn it around, but haven't seen it yet.

Vick's passing ability looked better than at any point during his time with the Falcons. He was gunning like a sniper out there. Quick release and right into a receiver's hands.

That level of passing skill combined with his still amazing running ability = the Vick everyone was always waiting for.

He gets the start and has another hot game and leads them to a win, I'd be reconsidering who the starting QB is.

There are rumors going around that the Packers are looking into getting Marshawn Lynch from the Bills to replace Ryan Grant. I already picked him up on Fantasy since my RBs aren't that great since I probably need a third back to win the rest of the season.

Who'd of really thought the Bucs, Dolphins and Bears would have started off 2-0 ?

Also, I wonder how long before there's a media backlash against Favre. 2nd game in a row where he really looks like a clumsy old man who's way beyond his time to be on the field.

The Eagles are also idiots if they don't keep Vick as a starter. He's shown nothing but the ability to lead and win so far this season. Had they started Vick in the first game they might be 2-0.

i am amazed that the bears are 2-0. They are my team, but i thought they'd win 5-6 this season. I hope i'm wrong!!

I know they haven't played any really highly offensive teams, but what's amazed me is the Bucs defense. Pittsburgh and Cincinnati next, so they could go 4-0 to start. When they play the Saints I guess we'll see just how good that defense really is.

Wow...the Bears actually won one on their own today. I look at it this way...some times you win because the other team beat themselves, sometimes you win because you beat them. It's the same with losing.

The bears have good pieces but they often beat themselves OR sit by as the other team self destructs. Today was an example where the Bears actually did a pretty good job. Not amazing but no INT really helps after last year.

I was expecting the Bears to beat themselves more than Dallas today. They are very similar teams, IMO... QBs that are great for fantasy stats but not true leaders, defensive minded coaches that probably shouldn't have their jobs, and an innate ability to defeat themselves. Just didn't turn out right for Dallas. At this point, I'm basically hoping that Dallas falls apart, maybe it'll get Jones to realize that weak staff is not the way to build a championship team... but I can keep dreaming, I'm sure.

Yup...the Bears and the Boys do have much in common. Except for one thing, every year pros call the bears at 2-14 and the boys at 14-2 on the season...reality is almost always somewhere in the middle. Cutler and Romo are both great QB's but they lack (or haven't utilized) the leadership a team needs. I see seeds of it in both of them but nothing solid yet.

Both the Bears and Cowboys have a history of screwing themselves and that hurts the most. When you have everything it takes to beat a team or go deep in the post but you always sweep the rug out from underneath yourself.

This is when it is painful to be a fan...when you have nothing on the field in terms of talent and lose...it sucks but its easier.

I'll agree with the FOX post game comments...Favre is looking like a beat up old man...his blind arrogance is starting to show. It's becoming obvious by his movements and reluctance on the field that he has not recovered from his injury during the NFC championship last year. Back then, he was all over the field last season, moving, blocking...making plays. This year he's reluctant, wobbly...dare I say it slow...

Fuck him...I'll say it again, its going to end badly for him.
