So are we still thinking of coordinating this to fall around the same time as Evo?

I would be willing to chip in on a big suite somewhere as the "NG.com Room" so that people could hang without having to commit to anything big like a regular conference. As we've said before: people could game, set up ad hoc tournaments, go to Evo, chill and relax, go out drinking, gamble, really whatever they want to do --it would be about social networking rather than setting up any formal tournament.

That's right, MN invented the meetups. Been doin' it for close to 10 years. And what is so great about Lonesage ? I can see the hoopla about wasabi because persians are teh R43R, but Lonesage is just a younger, low rent version of myself.

You can do all the meetups you want, you still come out like a whiney crickety old hag. I think is time you change that persona for the cool cucumber that's dormant in there.

And I'm gonna start saving now just in case something like this happens. I talked to my wife about doing Evo next year anyway, and if there's a NG.com gathering at the same time, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.

It just seems to me when people meet in person, have gatherings, etc., no one really has a bad time. I personally have never met anyone on the forums that I couldn't stand.

Some of you guys make it seem like Ilazul has an obligation to welcome anyone who is a n-g.com member into his home...

from what I can tell, he had 45 people over his house, let them use his cabs, and was an overall very nice and generous host.

Any issues between Ilazul and Tonk should have remained between Ilazul and Tonk.

This thread was much more enjoyable when it was about the funny Lonesage/Wasabi video.
