The Living Daylights kicked all kinds of ass.
Co-sign.
The Living Daylights kicked all kinds of ass.

Daniel Craig was a stellar Bond. Bronsan was terrible — go back and watch Goldeneye again. It hasn't aged well at all.

"Brosnan" was a great bond...and Goldeneye is a fantastic bond film.
No and no.
I do think Brosnan could have been a good Bond. But I don't think he was.
Having your own personal favorites is great, but watching people like you and jdd1510 discuss who is the "most Bond" is laughable. This is going to sound condescending and arrogant, but what the hell, it's thousands of posts too late to start worrying about that. People like you don't know shit about James Bond.
When people like you try to judge what is or is not "Bond", usually what is happening is that those people are using Connery as the starting point of the comparison, not the James Bond character himself.
Craig is just as close to "Bond" as Connery was.
Dalton, and is some ways Lazenby -- yes, Lazenby -- were CLOSER to "Bond". So put that in your ignorant pipe and smoke it.
The other thing people commonly do is take the first Bond they saw growing up, and use that as the beginning point for comparison. That's why I like Roger Moore so much. But I'm not dumb enough to claim he's the "most Bond". Hell, from the Broccoli/Saltzman movies, he's probably the furthest from the real character by a pretty good margin. I still enjoy some of his movies the most, but I don't claim he's what Bond really is or should be.
You shouldn't assume that everyone else here is a dolt.
True, that was your partner in bitching, jdd1510.I never called anyone "most" bond.
False. He was as well cast as Connery. Any complaint you could make about Craig not fitting the role would apply about equally to Connery.I truly dislike Craig as bond. He's a good actor but the casting was all wrong.
Mathew Broderick was the best one.
No and no.

In summation: Read a fucking book once in a while.
I guess so... Surely that means they are pretty much fucked ?First you have to invest a stack of cash to film them, and I think with MGMs current credit record no one is going to lend them someI was quite surprised when I heard this, thought Bond films had always made a stack of cash![]()

Big Tinz, once again proving what a dumb shit he truly is.
Clive Owen cannot act. He's wooden.
Like a candy cab?
no, he's legitimately wooden. He has one face. One emotion. One tone.
Sounds like music that Late listens to.
High five. Dalton was a bad motherfucker, and the most underrated Bond of all time.
The 2nd film with him blew, but that was hardly his fault.
The Living Daylights kicked all kinds of ass.
Clearly, you don't.so I think I have a pretty good idea of who is and isn't a good Bond character.
Clearly, you don't.
I'm not asking you your opinion. I'm telling you what your opinion should be.
You should be thanking me instead of typing a lot of nonsense. I'm giving you the correct opinion for free.
You're jealous.
