I've been playing too many games lately. I've been really into western RPGs, I think I'm going to have to play through Dragon Age again. That was probably my favorite of the year.

PC

ADOM
NetHack
The Witcher

Uncharted 2 - Love the World Cup uniforms in multiplayer mode.
Yakuza 3 - I've barely scratched the surface of this game.

IPod Touch
Need for Speed: Shift - Got it on sale. Seems fun so far.

Dude, I'm so fucking jealous. I love that game. Shame that it never got ported, though. :oh_no:

Yeah its pretty sweet, the training missions are fun and are more of the "meat" of the game (18 of em) as the actual campaign is really short. I got it fairly cheap too, 270 delivered into my apartment from an arcade it was on location at that is about 100 miles away from me. :buttrock:

PS3:

Avatar-I played for a day and quit. I can't do it. Game's just too boring. I'll probably donate it to my least favorite charity.

Darksiders-Gameplay derivative of Zelda, covered in a Revalations style take on the end of the world, this game is not the 'next big thing' but it's worth a playthrough. There are puzzles and areas to figure out galore, and the XP system is just enticing enough that you want to find all the artifacts and souls so you can buy your abilities. The character growth system feels like Devil May Cry more than anything. I don't regret buying it and I'm enjoying playing it.

Xbox 360:

Gears Of War 2-been achievement whoring with my nephew in co-op. This game is way too gimmicky. There are too many 'gimmick' levels in it. I like the stop and pop action and the intricate level design the most, so that's when I'm having fun with the game. I know that can get monotonous to some, butI like the tense cover fire game play aspects a lot. Effective enough to immerse me in the atmosphere. Horde is a LOT of fun.

Garou: Mark Of the Wolves-Just dicking aruond.

NeoGeo Battle Coliseum-see above

Super Street Fighter IV-just screwing around with new costumes and getting titles for story mode. I need to get back online with this soon.

PS2:

CvS 2
KOF XI
KOF Maximum Impact 2
KOF 2002 UM Tougeki version-I'm not familiar enough with the original version to really KNOW the differences in this 'rebalanced' version, so it's gonna take some time. There are no new features in this version of the game that 2K2 UM doesn't have-the changes, whatever they are, are all on the back end. Also, my save file for 2K2 UM doesn't interact with this game so I have to do the challenges all over again. Boo. At $30, this version of the game is definitely worth it if you are a KOF fan.

NDSi XL:

SvC Card Fighters DS

HeartlessNuge-I will play SSF IV with you some time. I saw your message MANY days after the fact. I tend to get tunnel vision when I'm gaming and the PS3's message notificaiton system is kinda subtle so I totally missed it. Apologies. I wasn't snubbing ya, honest!

Super Street Fighter IV--Still suck.
Red Dead Redemption--Picked this up when it launched but hadn't played it in a few weeks. Still a ton left to do.
DJ Hero--Housemates just started getting into it.

It's been a SNK vs Capcom week.

SS3 and Tenka yesterday,

...and then some Basara 2 and SFIV (still don't have SSFIV yet) today.

Jake and I played some Tenka at his apartment when I was there in March. Sorry we didn't get to hang out last time, playing you both would have been awesome.

It took me a few months to return to this game after getting it shortly after its release. Once you get a little further in (I'd stopped before killing the Griever), it picks up nicely. And although the final boss is a tiny bit anticlimactic, the game has one of the coolest endings and lead-ins for a sequel ever.

For the first time since the week the game was released.

:lolz:

Still, SNK-Playmore really should have prepped SvC Chaos for XBLA to coincide with SSF IV's release. Unless there were licensing issues, they should have just released it and struck while the iron was hot. Would have made some serious bank. For all its warts and problems, I still think it's a fun fan service game worth 10 bucks.

Tenka really shines in 2-player because of all the different combinations of characters and modes. Hopefully we can meet up next time you're in town.

PS3

3D Dot Heroes : I accidentally created my custom character backwards so his face is on the back of his head. It's kind of cool since he now perpetually faces the camera. It only works because he's made out of dots though. If it looked realistic at all it would be creepy.

Modnation Racers: I love this game. The customization is almost limitless.

SSF4: I brought this in to work recently and Zenimus got me a trophy by winning 5 fights in a row online.

FFXIII: I'm borrowing this from a co-worker. It's OK so far. We shall see.

Finished MGS3 in two days, didn't have the thermal goggles for the fear and honestly thought I was fucked, but did it on the 2nd try. I remember it being a complete pain even with the goggles but strangely it wasn't bad at all. The end took 3 hours as I was being lame as hell and couldn't even see him when he was right in front of me. (such an awesome battle though).

The fury went down in 2 shots as he happened to be near a load of barrels the first shot, BOOM. oh shit lol he's got 1CM of health left! :tickled:

awesome game but I dont think I need to play it again. I'm shit at sneaking nowadays but the boss battle against the end is one of my faves of all time.

I can't play Tenka anymore. For me 5 Special is the last one. Tenka and its nice happiness. It makes me so angry.

I haven't played SNK vs. Capcom in years! We will definitely have to get into that soon!

I just bought some more random Western RPGs on Steam's crazy sale going on. I have a good collection of cheesy shit to last me for a long while. I'm going to go and try and finish The Lord of the Rings, I'm still not done with the third part!:vik:

Wii:
Twilight Princess - I'm liking the abundance of monkeys in this one.
Excite Truck - I'm addicted to this game. The game is completely ridiculous, but I haven't had this much fun w/ a racer in a long time. Finally unlocked Super Excite mode, alright!

360
Deathsmiles 2 - no comment...
Ketsui - favorite cave shmup yet

Neo Geo
Last Blade 1 - Perfection
