PC -

Aion ~ I cancelled my sub back in March after concluding the game was nothing more than a mindless Korean grindfest with lots of eye candy. NcSoft sent me an email about the new 1.9 patch and the upcoming 2.0 expansion.

I replied back shit talking the game and said they should refund my money for the 2 months I did play. They apologized that I didn't like the game and offered me a free month to see if I like the changes.

Meh, it's still grindy as hell, but not as bad. A decent amount of new quest and the xp from kills and rewards has been boosted up a bit.

The game still has a tons of potential though, but I'm not sure if they'll ever evolve it into a game the West will accept. It seems the East (especially Korea) doesn't mind a game where leveling involves picking a spot and killing the same thing over and over for literally 6-8 hours non-stop.

I kind of want to buy a PSP for Peace Walker and all the Stategy RPGs on that system.

I've been playing:

Dawn of War 2 - beating the game again, so I could play the expansion.
Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising (Only a few missions in but frankly this expansion takes DoW2 in the right direction, making it even more RPG like)

Little Big Planet - Played a few levels.

I also played some Super Mario Galaxy. I beat a level my sister was stuck on :emb:

There's a lot of them. I'm going on a RPG buying binge and there's more than you think. Most games are cheap too - like $16 if you wait awhile. I have more games for the PSP than the DS.

I might have to make a PSP reccomendation thread.

I thought the PSP used to be really expensive.

Maybe it's just that I have an OK job now, compared to when it first came out, lol.

But $199 for the PSP Peace Walker Bundle seemed like a good deal to me.
