Never seen a single episode of Evangelion, but now that I'm actually interested in watching it, it is apparently out of print.

Never played a Final Fantasy game.

Never watched Lord of the Rings.

Never watched any Star Wars movies.

There's a ton, but those are the ones that come to my head right now (mainly because I get heat for it).

Eva will never go out of print. There's a new box set every two or three years.

I've never seen Fight Club.

I fell into this group for a while, deterred by the pop sensibility that came with the movie and spilled onto the author of the original novel. Essentially, it was an exercise in a high-school era "shun it because it's popular" mentality.

Longer story short, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. In my opinion, it is, at the very least, one of those times where you can see the hype side-by-side with a well-made movie and a narrative that survived the indiscretions of profit-driven producers.

As far as popular franchises I've not seen/played/heard...

Final Fantasy
Gears of War
Any movie prominently featuring the Predator.

Probably a bit more, but I gotta run.

In my case it's just that I've never seen it, rather than me shunning it. I don't really watch a lot of film. Hell it was only this year I saw Robocop.

Eh, I saw it a year ago and didn't care for it. I think it's overrated.

Also it was only this year that I watched Escape from New York for the first time.

oh horseshit, Best Buy should have the platinum set or whatever for like $50.

I watched Evangelion at the perfect time in my life, when I was 17. Since then I've probably re-watched the entire series five times.

I don't know if you'd like it. If you're uncomfortable around other people and don't know how to socialize and hate yourself and feel like you'll never meet other peoples' standards and have daddy issues, then you'd probably like it.

I'm sure physical stores might still have it, but all the online stores I generally check (Amazon, Best Buy, etc.) don't have it anymore.

I don't know if I'll like it either, but I've been trying to watch all these "classic" anime shows that people talk about and I've never seen. Maybe I should just find a torrent of it. I'd borrow it, but I don't know anyone who owns it.

I would, but I still have his copy of Deadly Premonition and show no signs of actually finishing it any time soon.

Never sat thru a NASCAR race, even tho i love F1, WRC, and Monster Jam. I don't have an iPod. Records at home, mini-disc on the go. Video game wise- i just say no to FPSs. Haven't enjoyed one since PowerSlave on Saturn.

eva is dum, dont watch it.

theres nothing to be gained from watching it. its a very negative experience.

with that said i own this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Neon-Genesis-Ev...&pt=US_DVD_HD_DVD_Blu_ray&hash=item19bcf6e189

its before it was touched up and remastered and whatever.

the movies are hella bad too.

its not a show about giant robot fights and there is no resolution.

edit:

if you wanna borrow it ill send it out, and the movies.
