I put this up a while back to do a price check but I didn't have time to follow through with a "for sale" post. Well, now I'm officially selling this gem.

I don't think there is any possible way you can find a copy of this in better condition. I purchased it new and played it a couple times before packing it away safely. It's remained packed away since just days after purchase. In fact, the vendor included a nice color catalog with Magical Chase and it was still sitting right with the game.

Everything works perfectly and is in like new condition. Single owner, no smoking, stored in a Rubbermaid container for years, temperature and humidity controlled area. This is an incredibly nice item and I'd really like it to find a new home where it's appreciated.

For now I'll take offers on the item via PM, and when I have time later I will also reach out to some folks that showed serious interest during my price check. If it doesn't sell in a few days I'll probably Ebay it, but I'd prefer to avoid that route.

Just for fun, I will include the booklet (example pages shown) with purchase. It's a nice little piece of TG history.

Terms: I will ship USPS Priority with signature confirmation and insurance in the USA. Outside the USA, will use an insured method with tracking and also signature confirmation. I do accept Paypal if you have appropriate feedback and/or references, buyer will cover fees and shipping. I've somewhat quietly done close to $10,000 worth of sales to members of this forum over the past few months and will be happy to provide references that can attest to the quality of my goods/transactions. My Ebay feedback is under brentsg if you wish to check it out. If you lack feedback/references, I will also accept a money order so no worries.

sure wish I had the money for this, would you take a Japanese homecart of mark of the wolves in trade for it?

Just so people know I've been watching Magical Chase for a while. The last few I've seen have sold for:

$300 (loose hu)
$400 (loose hu with a chip in it)
$2000 (over $2000 maybe? Mr Nanto's sealed copy )

There is currently a sealed one on ebay for like $2600 or something stupid. At any rate, my point is that the price on this game seems to have escalated a great deal.
Any offer less then a $1000 is lowballing on this game.

Magical Chase does pop up for sale a few times a year, but to find one in box in this condition is very rare. A complete Magical Chase is the rarest full production game you will find on the TG-16. Offer accordingly.

Good luck with the sale Brentsg. That really is a beautiful cart you have there, let us know what you eventually part with it for.

I hope you know what you're doing though, replacing an item like that down the road will cost you. It's really a great game and if you sit on it, the value is only going to go up... I've always said that TG collecting in some ways is even more challenging than obtaining rare AES carts, especially if you are after those cardboard boxes. I'd say for every 20 Magical Chases or so that pop up, only 1 will have the box.

I saw the title, new the game's rarity, knew it rivaled some of the rarer Neo Carts, and wow --nice piece.

Absolutely beautiful!

Wolf I'm prepared to make you a one time only exclusive deal on this gem.

For $55,000 I will hand deliver this game to your door, play shmups with you, and take you to dinner.

For an extra $5,000 I am prepared to have TonK autograph the box.

I may see it selling for 300 but 2000 I dunno. Just my 2cents
HA! Not even in the ballpark dude.

If this hits eBay it will EASILY triple your estimate. Loose cards don't sell anywhere near that low, let alone dead mint CIB copies. This game is impossibly hard to find in the condition seen here.

I've had offers double that $300 for just the empty box.

I guess an offer of mark of the wolves is a lowball.... those two sure seem odd together,
would you take the following home carts Kof 2k3, mark of the wolves, art of fighting 3, kabuki klash, galaxy fight, last blade and svc chaos , all Jpn
plus the following US homecarts Spin Master (rough shape), baseball stars 2 (no manual), mutation nation, and ninja commando
plus a viewpoint mvs cart

Hi.

At this point I'm not really looking to trade for any Neo stuff. I've pretty much owned every Neo item that interested me and I've been thinning out what I have.

Thanks though!

well, thanks for responding, I am serious though, but if you don't want to trade that's cool,
good luck with your sale, not that you'll need it!
