I bought this because I was interested in it. It seems to be just a PGM board with the demon front chips on it, very simple and works great. Seems to be a real release and not a boot.

Yeah, there are a couple single pcb releases like that. SVC chaos, KOF 2003, and Demon front to name a few games from cart based systems that got a pcb release. Demon Front is a really fun game. If it wasn't for wanting Martial Masters as well, I'd have grabbed that pcb long ago :)

have fun

Makes me wonder if you can just hot swap the roms from the carts since a lot of the roms on the board are socketed.

Didn't know Demon Front had a single board version. I know Spectral vs. Generation and a few others had them. Now i'd like to track a demon front board down. :buttrock:

Keep an eye on the battery, they like to leak.

Nice score, I've never seen this one in a single board version. The Gladiator is another one released both as a cart and stand alone PCB. And as mentioned, keep an eye on that battery. I learned that lesson the hard way and have since removed the batteries on all of my PGM boards.
