Got out of court early today because opposing counsel didn't show up and decided to go see Zombieland.

It was like what I dream about, but with more guns.

Plus, Bill Murray is in it.

Best movie of 2009 for me.

This was an amazing flick. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. And the gore was really well done. Dialogue? Very well-written. Bill Murray's cameo was amazing. See this fucking movie already.

I'll watch her for you when she's about 16 ;)

JOKE

Looking forward to this movie myself, could be a while before I see it though.

Anyone pumped for Paranormal Activity, or am I a one man band on that one?

Saw it last night.

Very entertaining, fun movie.

Zombieland is godsent proof that a popcorn flick can be dumb movie fun and not just a frustrating waste of time to sit through.

I trust your movie judgment for the most part. I thought 2009 has been an awful year for movies, but perhaps I'll give this one a shot.

I hope you are a one man band on that one. I saw the trailer and it looks like absolute garbage. You know you have a winner when half the trailer shows audience reaction rather than actual scenes of the movie. I wouldn't have thought enough time had passed since Blair Witch that they would start making this kind of movie again already, but I guess they thought we wanted it. Not me.

They showed a trailer for the remake of Nightmare On Elm Street (a wholly unnecesary remake, btw.)

When the words 'Produced by Michael Bay' appeared, the audience laughed.

As hard as they did at any of the jokes during Zombieland.

It was a surreal moment.

I guess I'm a sucker for those type of movies, the effects don't look bad and its kinda one of those movies that have to look low budget to keep the effect of it being a normal family recording events.

By the way, Blair Witch 2 was actually good :p

Saw it yesterday, GREAT B-movie. Doesn't make any pretenses about it trying to be a cinematic masterpiece, just shows you exactly what you paid to see.

Sort of feels like Dead Rising made into a movie but with more humor.

I've been pretty dissapointed by Woody's acting lately; He always looks distracted and self conscious.

I'm hoping this is a return to form... zombie killing form!

anyway, gonna see it next Saturday (while the wife goes to some romantic comedy).

Yea. The nightmare trailer looked like trash.
And I walked into zombie land thinking it would be terrible
I was actually very happy with it.

That trailer did indeed look terrible and I'm sure it will be. But in a way, they kind of did make Freddy look a little more like an actual burn victim. At least from that half second they show of his face. I don't know if that's how he actually will look in the movie (and I won't know, because no way will I watch that shit).

Definitely got my money's worth seeing this yesterday afternoon. I normally don't dig zombie films of any kind, be them serious or comedy, but I went with some senior high school friends and had a blast. The scene where Tallahassee barges in on Columbus, effectively cock blocking him with Wichita though had me blurting out... "Oh I would so have shot him for that!" and for some reason the whole theater busted out laughing. Must have been the timing.

Did anyone stick around for Bill Murray after the credits?

Left when the credits started rolling. Is it worth the repeat viewing?
