I have to watch this shit! Is that real?!?! The film quality looks like the movies from that time period and that's an instant win in my book.

Yep, it's real. It's a throwback to the period/blaxploitation films of the 70s, albeit done in a slightly humorous way, obviously. Michael Jai White (Spawn) is the main guy, in case someone doesn't recognize him.

the redband was great, yah but I like the regular one because of the censorship. When he says "you jiiive motha-*BOOOM*" it just cracked me up. I love movie trailers did that.

there's a funny bonus clip from BD instead of a trailer on the disc of "Blood and Bone", which was slightly above average for a direct-to-dvd feature. Michael Jai White's martial arts makes everything look better anyways.

the best part of any Black Dynamite trailer is Michael Jai shaking the crap outta kids for various reasons.

Like others have said, Tarantino wishes he could do something this awesome.

He tried his hand with exploitation style film (Death Proof) and got panned (even though I personally enjoyed the film).

I can't fuckin' wait for Black Dynamite, this has been a long time coming... Almost a year now since it was first announced!

They keep making all these little changes to the trailer... it used to say ANAMORPHIC DUOVISION, right?

Looks awesome. My only fear is that its trailer friendly but not as good on the screen.

Unless it gets critically savaged, count me in on opening day, though. It will probably hit one of the indy theaters here.

For all the kid of funny hate at Tarantino (I mean, who cares?), you can probably credit his throwback movies for how a movie like this gets funded and greenlit.
