im a big fan+ of dynasty warriors games. theyre mindless, and grindy, and fun when you're bored and just looking to satisfy that area of your brain that craves steady progression.

word on the street is, Koei is making a Hokuto No Ken [Fist of the North Star] Musou game.

dynasty warriors + hkn = the perfect mix

I'd play it. Anyone with a set of balls should like Fist of the North Star.

I'm more than happy to play it if they bring it over here, but I hope they put more thought into the gameplay than Dynasty Warriors. I'd rather have something more like God Hand. Although I have to admit that if any franchise ever was a good fit to be Dynasty Warrior-ized, it would be Hokuto no Ken.

thats where im at----god hand was probly the best HNK game you could ever hope for.

Oh, come on. You mean you didn't like DW Gundam?! :rolleyes:

I've tried several times to get into the DW games. Samurai Warriors came closer than most attempts. But the combat's just so mindless. I wish Koei would put out a followup to Destrega, instead.

Looks great from that screen shot on the bottom. Hopefully this will get a US release or the 360 version will be multi-region.

It shows release date is 10/14/09 but how come I can't find anything information about this title anywhere? Not even NCSX has any information on their website???

IS THIS GAME ACTUALLY GOING TO GET A USA RELEASE FOR ONCE?

The Atomiswave VS. Fighting game didn't.

We didn't get the Playstation games.

Last Hokuto No Ken game released stateside I believe was HNK 2
but as "Last Battle" on the Sega Genesis so long ago.


I'm assuming it's going to be for the PS3? Might as well purchase
a JPN system if that's the case.

If the characters have more than one attack chain, I might actually look into this.

And if people explode. I want exploding people. I think people should explode more often in real life.
