That's fucking sweet.

I've always been a big fan of the early Datsun/Nissan Zs.

It's.....it's beautiful!

"wimommy2boys", you have terrible taste in screen names but fantastic taste in automobiles.

The 240z is such an amazing car. Does it have the original 4speed transmission or one of the newer 5speeds?

Screen name was a joke between my wife and i lol. The Power plant is actually out of a 83 280zx i ripped the fuelinjection off and threw a set of triple webers on it. It has the 5 spd. I will be doing a carbed blowthrough turbo this winter. I just won a Hks Surge tank for the carbs of yahoo japan yesterday. If I am not happy with the power i will put a rb26dett out of a skyline in it. :) I dont care about modding the 73 plus cars as they are series II cars and not as rare, pre 73 is uber rare and a sin to modify.

My daily driver is a 99 Ls1 Transam

I cant be the only one on here with some nice rides throw them out there people.

First car I ever bought.

This has got to go, or at least be replaced (and yes, the head is there, the reflection just sucks).

That sticker is gonna run you about 300 bucks. If you remove it you will see the ghost image from where the clear coat is dull around the bird sorry man. If you wanna do it right gonna have to remove bird and wetsand the hood cut and polish it. :(

but if it was......
I did used to drive one exactly like that one, though. Same color, even. Girlfriend's car; would drop her at class in the morning, then drive it from Northridge to Long Beach State to get to my classes then back again in the evening, a good hour each way. Best part was that it had almost no brakes. Even when I say "almost no brakes," and you form a picture in your head, it was less brakes than that. Even when I say less brakes, and you think, "Okay," and form a new picture, it was still less brakes than you are thinking. You really had to plan ahead in that car and start stopping early. Real early (If anyone has ever seen Fletch Lives, it was kind of like that car). Even without the constant narrow avoiding of ramming into everything, every time driving in that car was like mainlining adrenaline because of the knowledge that if the rear bumper even just got tapped, the car would combust like a roman candle and turn into a rolling metal coffin of fire.

Still... good memories now.

so what you are saying is that your car should have been in the movie "Crank"? That's how nonexistant the breaks were?
