I recently bought the whole series on DVD, and man, this has got to be one of the funniest shows I've ever seen in my life. It got me curious.... Has anyone in the States heard of it? I figure it might have a cult following.

Only seen a few episodes. Great show. My favorite so far has got to be the Rush episode. When the one guy tells Alex Lifeson "Hey Lifeson, this bag of weed is light... did you smoke some of this?"

Lifeson then just looks at the camera with a guilty face and says: "Look, I gotta go."

Awesome.

Love it. Especially the Hash Driveway. Jim Lahey is the best character on there.

Yeah I've known about the series for a couple of years. It is funny as hell but it takes most of the first season before it really hits it's stride.

The movie is also funny shit.

which never happened.....

All seven season were made for showcase.

Ahhh... thought they did... hmmmm

Well the show went to shit around the 4th season... the later episodes got better though, watched a few earlier this year. That whole weed train crap was stupid.

A great show indeed, watched most of the episodes with some buddies a year or so ago.

I caught a bit of the show when I was in Canada last month --seems pretty amusing.

Uhh.... Isn't the show done with now? I know there's another movie coming out though (if the little ad paper in the collection is anything to go by).

Hahaha that guy. I saw him walking out of Sugars nightclub with some old cougar last summer...drunk as shit.

Was friendly enough to stop and shoot the shit with me; probably the deepest conversation I've ever had on the subject of nothing. Can't even remember what the fuck we were talking about. Cool guy though.

I think it was about finding your place in the universe or something...he was all over the place.

After that he got mobbed by some local idiots for autographs and stupid questions.

Too bad. At least you got to chat with the dude for a while, though. (Damn, I don't even know the real names of anyone on the show.)

Aha! Thanks Merc. Somehow, I'm not surprised you're a fan of the Boys. Good on ya. :buttrock:

Well to be honest I'd never heard of the show until I was lurking one night when you first made this thread, and I'm hooked. I don't post much here, but I drop in from time to time. Too busy with a new job, the stress of parenthood, linked up with an old crew of mine and have been spending time kickin' it with them (where I can), playing a lot of AV Famicom and Atari 5200, and being a fool on FaceBook + those Zynga apps [Special Forces, respectively].

That said, *Trailer Park Boys* has me in stitches. Really the only show I'm enjoying as of late every night on YouTube. Currently left off at Season 2 episode 3 about J-Roc opening his night club licensed. :lolz:
