Whenever I watch the Apollo 11 footage, I'm amazed how the crew could land on the moon in a flimsy air-tight can like that. Technically, the whole thing was a gamble from the beginning to the end.

I also love the looks and haircuts of the people at Houston ground control. :D

Politically and technically, the Apollo program more than did the trick, so even though I personally believe that man sat foot upon the moon, it doesn't really matter wether it actually happened or not. All that giant-leap-for-mankind banter was fine and dandy but not the main purpose of Apollo.

Still, the fact that we were able to send people into space on top of large rockets only 60 years after the Wright brothers' first flight with a controlled aircraft is really amazing.

The moon landing was a lot of basic physics. Oh and yeah, they just managed to get the entire scientific community to go along with such an elaborate hoax. That's so simple to do.

Maybe if you can see Buzz you can tell him how it was a hoax.

Going to the moon and back is actually pretty simple... Even with that old technology.

It's pretty complicated shit for one layperson to understand (myself included)... But to physicists, it's elementary.

People who sit here yapping that it was a hoax, are among the stupidest fucks that grace this planet. Were natural selection to right the wrong of their existence, it would be a one giant step for the betterment of human civilization. I don't particularly find it amusing that people have such a severe intelligence deficiency that they choose to see things that aren't in the least bit truthful.
