this is a really good idea....
people should start posting what they get like stated before,
it'd be cool to see results....

but what if.....

This sounds like a really cool idea. But forgive me if I say that it sounds like it might exacerbate the problem.... If I got a grab bag full of stuff I didn't really need, it'd just contribute to my reserves of junk (not that everyone would be sending me junk, but you know what I mean). If the idea is to clear out some closet space, what purpose is there in filling it right back up again with random things?

Wouldn't it make more sense to do it like a Secret Santa? That way people could get stuff they might be more inclined to use more often, and stuff that's gathering dust could find a new home and it hopefully won't just gather another layer.

Just a thought.

I'm going to go with the fact that you are spending $10..... and if you are going to get bent out of shape over what was in the flat rate box, then you probably shouldn't have participated... unless you get a box full of packing peanuts or something...

you can also do want TonK did... State that you are looking for a grab bag that has neo related items.

I don't have a grab bag, but I'd gladly pay $10 for some random stuff. PM me if anyone wants to send me something.

Cool idea.
I think it should definitely be anonymous on the front end, but everyone should post up what they get.
We do secret santa where I work every Christmas and while this is typically a lame attempt promote comradery, etc. most everyone that works there is pretty cool so it is fun to see what people give and get. Sometimes funny, sometimes sincere, sometimes lame.

I'd be down.

Edit: almost forgot. The other thing we do when putting our name in a hat is write down one or two (general) things we like. Might be too tough logistically here, but just a thought. Give the other person something to go off of. Can lead to some very funny and very thoughtful stuff.

So is it the $10 grab box special? Well, I'm down for making one.

It wouldn't be just video games though; it would be an assortment of media, video game and otherwise.
And to get a box from me, first you must answer my questions three:
1. What is your favorite X? (can be album, book, or movie)
2. What is the first video game you played that you loved?
3. What is the last video game you played that you loved?

Just shoot a p.m. my way.

Just sent Xian Xi 1 box o' mysteries!

For the record, who is sending and who is receiving?
And people should definitely post up the contents of their mystery box when they receive them (with pics!).

DJdelly and everyone else, UPS does not ship to PO Boxes so use USPS instead or get a street address 'cause rerouting with UPS sucks balls to the max.
