What I dont get is why no one brings in poor Ed McMahon - he was a icon in his own way as Farrah and Michael have all been....you know they say it always happens in 3's - sad to see one the most beautiful women in showbiz in her time and she still looked damn good for her age even sick.....and then a musical genius die with in a 24 hour period...as well as Ed, all will be missed and remembered in our hearts forever.

I was partying when this guy shows up and says that something happened to MJ, etc. We said something along the lines "nah, are you kidding? it's michael jackson". A few minutes later someone called him and confirmed that he was dead. One of the most fucked up situations while being drunk in a while
It's 7:05 here in spain and holy shit. People can't accept it. It kinda makes you think that you are getting old. When the people that was so huge back then start dying. It's like stallone, schwartzenegger, Michael j fox, bill murray or someone like that dying, only a few times more shocking.

If you liked his music, fine. But the man was a child molester, and to believe differently is insanely naive.
First and foremost, the man admitted to sharing a bed with many, many children on many, many occasions.
Second, in the 1993 case two books containing nude photos of young boys were seized from his house. They were legally nonpornographic, but they contained graphic images of the genitals of prepubescent boys.
Jackson paid 2,000,000 dollars to the family of Jason Francia to settle a molestation case out of court in 1996.
Jackson paid 22,000,000 dollars to the family of Jordan Chandler to settle a molestation case out of court.
Two other children who claimed Jackson molested them declined to testify in the 2005 case.
When Jackson's house was raided, some of his porn magazines had the fingerprints of the accuser in the 2005 case as well as his brother.
The child and his brother were often drunk at Jackson's house, and Jackson admitted to that fact, but he claimed that it was because the children were "out of control". and it had nothing to do with him personally.
Jackson's own sister, La Toya, went on the record as saying that her brother was a pedophile. She later retracted these statements, but that was after her family disowned here.
Not to mention the obvious mental instability of the man (his childhood abuse [which is sad], his multiple drug addictions, his dozens of plastic surgeries, his dangling of his child over a balcony...)
I'm sure someone is going to claim that all of that is just a mixture of coincidences, circumstantial evidence, and people out to ruin his reputation. Well, I've got one response: pass me the Kool Aid you're drinking.

Why would he settle TWO child molestation cases out of court, for a total sum in the neighborhood of 25,000,000 dollars, if he were innocent?
Why would he allow children in his bed AFTER two child molestation cases (settled out of court)?
Why would he have books containing graphic images of naked children? They were presented as evidence, and their existence is factual.
Why were children given alcohol and exposed to pornography at his house, whether he was present or not? Jackson admitted that the kids saw the porn and drank the alcohol. He just claimed that it wasn't his fault;
Why would his sister go on television and call him a pedophile by name?
None of that is gossip. All of that actually happened.
Yeah, I guess that happens all the time. You know, half a dozen children accuse you of raping them, you pay two of them off, you read books containing nude photos of little boys, your sister calls you a pedophile, and you let neighborhood kids run around your house drinking alcohol and looking at porn. Now this is what I'll say on all of this. If ANYBODY ever raped your child, would you take the money? I don't think I could put a price on my child. Seeing how they took the money and didn't go through with the trial is bullshit. If somebody raped my kid, I'd want their head on a platter, not money.

If you need more proof than that, I don't know what else to say. All of the statements I presented were entirely factual.
If Michael Jackson were never a pop star, nobody would care at all. He'd just be another dead sicko, and nobody would defend him in the face of such overwhelming evidence.
He had photos of naked boys, he paid off the families of two boys who accused him of raping them (in unrelated cases three years apart), he admitted to sharing beds with boys, two boys were exposed to alcohol and porn at his house, his sister called him a pedophile, he was accused AGAIN of child molestation in 2003, and he was a drug addict.
How can you possibly tell me with a straight face that there is even a remote chance he wasn't a pedophile?
I refuse to respect a man who raped children, and I'm the one with a character issue. Fine.

The thing that sucks is that I had completely forgot about Michael Jackson even though he was one of my idols as a young lad and it took his death to remind me of how awesome his music was.

I'm not here to dispute the quality of his music. I'm here to try to reconcile the fact that people are genuinely saddened by the death of someone who molested children.
Thousands of good people die every day, and the only people who care are the people who knew them. But when a horrible man who happened to make music people liked dies, it's a national tragedy.
