Travelling: Don't really care where, as long it's not Iraq.

Movies: Got way too many.

Reading: I like reading both American and European classics.

Telecommunication: Keeping up with the cellular telcom industry makes me happy. It makes my job a lot easier.

Concerts: I try to go to at least 2 a month. The past few months have actually been slow since I've moved to a new location.

Collecting Synthpop/Electronic music on various formats: Still looking for New Beat classics.

Comedy Clubs: If it's in NYC, NJ, CT or Mass, I've been there.

Cooking: Another stress reliever. Perfected Portuguese/Spanish/Iberian cuisine. Also, I don't like to go out to eat unless it's a place that's known for a certain dish or type of meal. Diners are an exception as I'm more likely to go to a diner in another state than to hit up a local 'Ruby Tuesdays'. God I hate that franchised shit.

I kinda dabble in a few things right now.

Music Making, invloves my MPC (see below)
MPC1000fo.jpg

Beat Editing, Beat Making, Finding Samples, Horror Style Music.

Recently got more interested in Art, mainly love stencil art, this will soon involve a small self employed job I have planned, involving lots of things, so its good to enjoy what you work with imo. Looking into learning more about photoshop too, my basic skills don't do much. Got some really cool idea's in mind.

Movies, I enjoy a good one.

Thats about it really, apart from the fact I love Snooker and Pool, but don't really play much anymore, but do plan to get a nice table when I move out into my own place, thats for sure.

Looking at this thread, that Mini Moto stuff interests me, I could easily enjoy that, might have to grab one of those on a binge purchase one day, seriously.

Used to BMX and Skateboard as a kid, but I figure I'm too old for that now, but secretly I would love to pimp up a BMX again and ride around with pride, but I think I'd just get laughed at being nearly 30. :crying:

Wouldn't mind toning up again too, but thats not really a hobby or anything, just general fitness.

Gee, soooo obtuse! Hmmm, let me guess (this is such a hard one Spin, omg!): your 'reasons' were usually stuffed into some chick's (DD-sized) bra? Damn, all you guys reading this now know how Dr. Watson must have felt all the time.

getting in showers with girls and trying to pee on them without them noticing.

See above for a much more 'general/vague' accuracy

Comics is the only thing that I am collecting now.I really have no interest in nothing else.

Are videogames and/or comics the only reason you post on this BBS? Because you could also add 'posting on internet BBSs' to your list of hobbies.

I used to BMX when I was a kid, too; we had some nice lots around with homemade dirt tracks and jumps, and I used to race at an 'official' track. That was almost 25 years ago. I'll be 39 this year, and I've been considering picking up a new BMX, just for fun. Don't let your age stop you. :)

I was a DJ and producer of house music from 1998-2004. Seemed like too many people were doing it. Also I thought the drugs were killing the music that I loved so I stopped and packed my gear up.

My other hobbies include comics and playing paintball once or twice a year. Games take up such a huge part of my life I do not believe I could have any other big hobbies. I get more enjoyment out of TV, video games and comics than I ever did playing out.

On a later note I picked up new needles and slipmats. The next step is to do the virtual vinyl thing. I never want to buy a record again. Once you have a few thousand, things can get complicated. That and I will never pay money for music again.

performing standup comedy
electronic music
seeing live music
nightclubs
TV dramas
history
humanism
I used to review Japanese music online, but that ended up being more of a job than a hobby.

I have too many, which is why I dabble in all, master none.

The main benefit being they are so much better now than when you were a kid, my bike kicks arse.
