Fuckin' A, slotracing is so bad ass. I don't have the room for a track, but I used to know of a couple of places that had sweet tracks you could use for like $7 bucks an hour or something.

On topic: I don't even game anymore. My only hobby really is baseball, that's it.

At least you chose a great hobby. I was playing some intramural baseball last year when I was still in college. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll get the chance to play baseball again since nobody really plays it at my age or it would be too difficult to get a game together.

I just got lucky, the track would never have become this big if we weren't able to find a really big attic. But the place where our track is now used to be my best friends old bedroom.(From the time he lived with his parents)
So he said;Dad what did you do to with my old room?
answer:nothing and not planning anything either.
Well now it is being used!

greets ratson and thanks for your reply.(btw great hobby)

Besides gaming my main hobbies are:

Boardgaming- and as of late a signigicant subset of that hobby has been Warhammer 40k (lolz nerd alert) stuff. I've got about 500pts of Orkz painted up. Need to take some pics. I've also acquired a new boardgame or two; Blokus and Travel Blokus.

History/Reading. - Mostly been reading about the american revolutionary era lately.

Thats about it?

Hiking, and I'm very interested in wildife. I spend as much time outdoors as possible, and seeing as how I live near some national parks I try to get out and see as much local wildlife as I can. I've been looking into bird indentification, but mostly I try to track down amphibians with my kids. We were catching leopard frogs this morning.

Music, yo yoing :emb:, studying.

Oh yeah, I'm also an intern at a local magazine. Though I don't care much about writing for them, I do love writing and do it quite often.

Some things I like

I can throw an ultimate disc a dozen different ways.

Backpacking if my favorite thing to do but I haven't been going on enough trips lately. While I'm in the woods I practice aboriginal survival techniques. I'm trained especially for desert survival, but a lot of skills translate most any wilderness environment.

I spin poi. Right now I have LED poi and training poi made out of socks, but I can do quite a few tricks. Once I get better and start to spin fire poi I'll post a few videos to youtube. This is what I'm talking about, just not me doing it, http://youtube.com/watch?v=2IjdnMvBW_A

LED poi video. I want a set of the sticks this dude has http://youtube.com/watch?v=y1XmkvzI0Yw&feature=related

I pretty much suck ass at slackline walking but its fun to try anyway.

Crazy music festivals. Hell of a sport really :)

cars. the problem is everything costs so much more for cars vs videogames that i tend to buy lots of videogame stuff instead of saving it for my cars. :oh_no:

i do some tabletop stuff too. mostly tcgs and heroscape. what a money pit. but its fun.

Cooking: (casual and gormet): While the girlfriend takes care of baking and dessert making, I try to perfect main Continental, Spanish, Portuguese, Itallian, and Asian dishes w/ a fusion twist. Exmaples such as Portuguese kale soup (Caldo Verde/Itallian Wedding style mix), Paella Vallenciana (land or sea), Seared Salmon with Squid Risotto, Pesto Lamb Shanks with a mix of mushroom and chorizo red wine sauce.

Languages: I'm trying to get back into German. Since I was a child I was speaking a few languages by age 5. It's pretty handy at work since we deal with vendors from other countries (Brazil, Portugal, France, Italy, etc). Most of the people in my department speak more than one language. I think I have five down packed.

Travelling: I'm always up and down the New England coast checking out new things and trying out new resturants and spots.

Music: I don't even know how much I have any more. Most of my music ends up in storage after I've ripped it. This has been a slack year for me with regards to concerts. So far I've been to less than 6 as of now. Due to the amount I have, I'm seriously about to upgrade the HD on my Zune*.

Umm, you're an idiot...?

I guess that's the only response I feel is appropriate at this juncture.

Reading (fiction, non-fiction and comics)
Exercise (running, yoga, weighted and non-weighted routines)
Alcohol (sampling quality products--mostly red wine, sake and vodka)
Music (eclectic taste)
Movies (I'll watch anything besides romantic comedies--preference for horror/gore)

Did you drop out of your mom's pussy this retarded, or did you have to sniff glue incessantly for the last 18 years to get here?
