Yes you can bring your own systems. the room is hugh, way to big for me to fill with what I got. However I may be short on TV's. I am acquiring as much as I can but we will see what I end up with. I may end up getting some of the guys I know local to bring in some classics as well if they are up to it.

the only rules I have is I don't care if they are moded systems but no burns or rom playing. If you want to do that do it in your room.

Maury I am pretty sure those girls are from Ikki tousen.

I picked up martimeele for the PS/2 as well. has some added characters and removed the ROTD characters. Also the gameplay is a bit different with the transofrmation moves.

so martimee won't be running on the mvs?? :( I most likely bring my own tv. I'll be running KOF XI on my ps2. if anyone is up for a quick game look for me :D

No,

I just said I picked up Martimelee for the Ps/2 I am still planing on putting the game in my MVS. the ps/2 version is different then the mvs version.

Heh, just goes to show how much I know about anime. You're right! I just read the manga the other day and said "whoops". I thought it was Tenjo Tenge cause of the girl with the extensions on her head... a loser is me! :buttrock:

here is a tenative tournament schedule

tournament will be casual and compition play. I will have signup sheets and times at the event but tenative times are as follows

Friday

SSBM 6pm

Saturday

Tekken 5 ps/2 2pm prehaps another one later that day.
KOF XI PS/2 4pm or 5pm
SFHE 8pm
SSBM 8pm

FFS challenge starts at 12pm until we have a winner of everyone gives up :)

Sunday

NGBC 10am

I will be fitting in more tournaments as well and will hold some in parellel. prizes will be dictated by attendance.

yes it is open 24hour. remember sunday we close at 12pm

Well another oni-con came and went. I would like to think everyone that came out.

I got to meet maury V. glad you could make it. the events this year turned out to be very successfull look for bigger and better next year. I already put in the request to double the room size :)

anyway for those you did not make it look for the review on Snk-Capcom site shortly and here is a little of what you missed form the arcade side.

Thanx for everything Big Bruno:buttrock: . I had blast at the arcade room. I even won the NGBC Tournament only four people showed up, the thing is that I play most of the people that signed in for the tournament the night before and i kicked their butts maybe they were afraid to show up:drool_2: . Finally that Mugen thing shouldnt be allowed in such events, i thinks its a disgrace for true hardcore fighting gamers.:shame:

yeah sundays 10am tourney was a bust. but the rest went off pretty well. the KOF XI did pretty well. trying to hold tourney's on sunday is hard because I have to start to pack everything up.

Mugen will not be there next yeat, although it was fun to watch. but I did not set that up it was someone else. I am already working on next year. looking to double or triple the room. glad you made it out, hope you like the poster and KOF 2k kit.

Unless you were the hispanic gentleman on the 2nd player side, 5'9 and a thin build who used Robert and Terry, then you never played me. In addition, i overslept cause i didn't go to sleep till 6:30am sunday morning. Aside from that, congrats on getting yourself a 2k kit.

Ok, as long as someone with skill took it then it's all good. I take some solice knowing that i almost beat you in the last fight we had. Despite my sleep deprivation, i had fun fighting you, we'll have to do it again sometime.

Yes Oni-con! What a fantastic con! I didn't think I would make it but I did and dammit, it was fookin' awesome! I was there during the Mugen fighting (tall, bald, black man that was shouting some of the characters to use?). Anyway, Bruno, it was a pleasure meeting you, that indeed it was! Hopefully, I can come to Houston next year for Oni-con cause I can't wait to hang out with more of my neo-geo.com bretheren!
