Got it myself, such a great game. Some of the missions are really hard. #40 is going on in the BG right now as my friend tries to get Geese. Lots of Geese death.

I just got Geese btw, actually it's really easy. Just watch Terry's moves, if it's not Power Wave then prepare to do his hcf+B counter move.

6 DM KOs without losing any team members before you meet the mid boss.

Well I just put an order for the game in on Play-Asia, they went from 24 hours to one week, but I just got the Gunstar Treasure Box AND Twinkle Star Sprites to keep me busy.

I noticed that NCXS ships every copy out with four cards, did Play-Asia get the cards too? Even if they don't come with the cards, I'm happy with Play-Asia because I got an instant five bucks off from my last order and even if I don't get the cards I don't pay tax from Play-Asia.

I unlocked everything by completing all the challenges. B/C from my experience on the AW I know that it was almost impossible to get the proper midboss. Most times I always ended up fighting Gai.

The throw break challenge was pretty easy. All you gotta do is be prepared to hit F+either C or D when approaching the opponent. And you get a whole "round" to do it.

Here is my SUPER easy way to complete challenge #34:

Shen (leader)
King
Iori

The characters need to be picked in that order. At the start of the round activate Shen's LDM, then jump D, close C, Fw+B, qcf+C (SHIFT to King) jump in D, close D (1-hit), Df+D, rdp+B (4 hits), super cancel into qcf, hcb+D, (SHIFT to Iori) jump in D, close C, dp+C super cancel into qcfX2+C.

The best part about that combo is that Shen does over 50% of the damage by himself. I also have another one that is a little harder.

Ryo
Robert
Gato (leader)

Starting with Ryo. hcb,f+K (new move) super cancel into qcf, hcb+C (SHIFT to Robert) jump in D, close C, Fw+B (the step kick), qcf,hcb+C (SHIFT to Gato) jump in D, close C, qcf+A, super cancel into qcfX2+A, DREAM CANCEL into dp+e 3 times.

That one is a little harder b/c the SHIFT~jump in attacks have to be timed really well and the timing on the Robert portion is trick to get the Close C, Fw+B. Also the Gato part is REALLY tricky b/c if you dont instantly get the special into the super cancel you wont do enough damage on the DREAM CANCEL.

This game is the best KOF ever made, hands-down. I'm in heaven right now with this AND Maximum Impact 2 to play.

If ur talking about the ending capture....thats actually Hotaru. She goes to the bar she knows the winners were gonna meet at to see if she can capture her bro (Gato) but he isnt there and she ends up getting mixed up with the party. At the conclusion of the ending, Gato is seen standing outside the bar.

Ok. I see now. They really made that one a little confusing. On closer inspection, I saw the outfit between the crowd; but I don't remember Hotaru having Akari's Cowlick before. Maybe it's a factor of her getting hosed, because it's typically Akari with that face and cowlick hair style.

Yeah, I'm on 20 now. I didn't know how to do any of the recovers and tap outs since I never used them. Got up to 20 in 30 minutes or so, The Robert one gave me a few retries along with the 3 random teams. I'm terrible with Mai so this challenge is a bit tricky for me. Ah well nothing to do this afternoon anyway.

Some observations
-Kula...omg she's rediculous. Her priority is through the roof, and so much more
-I hate fighting Momoko, especially when playing as Oswald. She can duck most of his attacks, and is an all around annoyance. Just bring Bao back really
-Terry is way faster
-Seems the specials where the character dashes then does a combo (like Iori's QCFHCB+P) have less priority.
-Clark has mad priority, along with Maxima
-Tizoc's grabs are very nerfed
-Ioris new special is amazing.
-Ash is still as awesome as ever.
-Duo Lon definateyl got toned down.


So, I'm trying to learn Oswald. He's a really interesting and different character, and sadly the move list is in japanese. Are all his moves available right away, or not? All the card symbols and such are making think they're not. Either way he's a REALLY awesome character, and yet Elizabeth feels like half of one.

Duo Lon's LDM makes up for his drop in the tiers. Oswald's moves are all accessable from the get go. Although his Ace (qcf + E) is a follow up after qcf + K.

On another note, looks like NCSX is restocking the game, which means the first shipment got major buys. Can't wait till my copy arrives, as I'm always psyched to get another KOF. This time, it seems everybody else is, too.

his ace was what was confusing me, since it would never go off. He's a great character though.

Didn't even notice Kensou was back....then again didn't really care. Chang and Choi are now both gone, the Korea team is dead, and what's with bringing back Jhun for only one KOF, poor guy can't get a break.

I got it from them, first shipment, definitely a good way to go. Got that and the Sega Ages Treasure Box Collection, good stuff.

Went out and got a second set of component cables, and this game looks excellent in progressive scan. The aspect ratio feels great, and the sprites are really, really sharp.

I see why everyone is saying this is somewhat of a redemption for Playmore- really fun game, definitely one of my favorite KOFs. The Super Cancels feel more natural to pull off in XI, especially with K', which makes for some real nice combos.

Feeling frustrated tried to meet the conditions to fight Jyazu/Silber or even completing the Challenge Mode so I uploaded a completed game save...

Silber is damn good! I love this guy... high damage...
