I just got this on ebay for $99.99 does anyone have anything similair to this. I asked if the monitor works and the guy says the game turns on but not the monitor and says maybe he put the game cart the wrong way (I wish). But I mostly wanted the stand to make a supergun out of it, if I can fix the monitor myself or have someone else do it cheaply I will keep it if not it might go in the trash, :( Anyone got any useful websites on arcade stands with a projector tv? I cant find anything.

Oh my god you actually bought a "Big Blue". Good luck finding the cash for a replacement monitor which I've been told is over a $1000.

Nice bro
I hope you can get someone to repair it.
Is that a local pick up?

Imagine the NEO on that size screen.

Take it to a tv repair shop guy ;)
or I think there are some guys in LA who fix moniotrs for cheap :)

Try and get that thing working again man :)
Why the fuck do you want a super gun if you are going to have a cab (that might fix easily:conf: ) and may work.

No, but that was the one that was at the mall. It was a good cab except the monitor wasn't very bright so sometimes you had to squint for games like Metal Slug 2's stage 2. Talked to the owner and he said he'd put it up again but he doesn't have the money to fix it so it just sits in the back room.

Definetely. Get the monitor fixed by a TV repair man Screw the super gun. There was a cab exactly like that at my old arcade. It had KOF96 then 97 on it. then they got rid of it and put it on some cheap conversion cab. If the local repair shops are half as innovative as they are here it shouldnt cost much. IMO Arcade operators are usually cheap when it comes to repairs and maintenance. Even if it is $1000 to repair thats a blingin fuckin cab for $1100.

Find out what the model and make is and I'm sure you will be able to find some information on the web.

:mr_t: . The monitor is just a projection TV. Take it to a TV repairman and maybe he could fix it or could hook you up with a cheap replacement. Have fun lugging that thing around.

Thanks for the post guys, I agree completely on fixing the monitor I have a tv repair man across the street where I will store it so maybe he can fix it if not I'll find someone else I know there has to be someone in southern california who can fix it. I figured if it would cost just as much to fix it as buying a new or enough to put toward one I would buy a new tv but I wanna keep it original. I wanna fix it up and get it working, I dont have place at my house to put it but I'll find somewhere good for it. Even if I cant fix the monitor I will keep it until I can, no sense in throwing a piece of history away right?

Nice. If it were mine, I'd gut out the monitor housing and stick a one of those cheaper big screens from circuit city in there. Sometimes when there's a sale, they can be had for 700 bucks... then you can easily hookup consoles to it too.

So Complex, did u get the monitor fixed, or at least an estimate on how much it would cost? I alsmot bougt a big screen Virtua Fighter 2 for $100, but it had no green drive in the big screen. I no nothing about projection TV's so I didn't get it.

I'll bet that "monitor" is the same as the alpine racer cab, and the like. The Alpine racer cab houses a 50" toshiba rear projection tv, and a video encoder. That's right... a standard big screen tv... get's pretty good chanel reception too. If you're lucky, the guy had it on the wrong input, or the video encoder is missing. Otherwise, you can pick up another 50" rear projection tv... I'd try to find the same model though to simplify things.

I'm not a hardcore Neo-Geo fan like most of you are/may be (but I still love Neo!)

But to be quite honest, when I saw what you won off of that auction, my heart almost stopped completely. GREAT FIND!
