Sabuco from the EOL boards has used a Megadrive/Genesis game case to store a ST-V cart just by cutting some parts:

It's pretty nice. I'm wondering if somebody could do inserts for the most popular games such as Radiant Silvergun :drool_2:

Bah, double post but bleh:
STVTemp.jpg

General idea down. What i need is something to put on the back, and a decent res screenshot. Ive actually never played the game, so I'm quite limited to what I can say about it. There is very little in the way of decent material on the net, so Im limited to what i can pull off.

I like the top bar thing.

I think the whole thing would look better in black without any of the gray.

Or just bring the black all the way down and accross on the front and leave the rest gray.

Thanks for those inserts, my RS cart has a red label. Some screenshots more in the back would make it very nice, I think MAME supports it now so maybe it is possible to use it to get more shots. Or from the Saturn manual, maybe there's more artwork, as the game has some anime-like pics in the intro.

I personally like the dark grey on the first version of the insert, but I like the layout on the second version, with just the image, the title and logos on the front. Classic and understated, very nice.

Radiant Silvergun in MAME blows a lot, over half of the graphics are missing and the sound is completely broken.

Also note that the middle screenshot you used is a prototype shot, with different HUD and enemy layout not present in the final game

Here are some pixel perfect screenshots from the Saturn version.

It wont hurt by having it there, lots of games have proto stuff in manuals and on the cases ;) Those pictures are formatted (sized) differently then the ones Ive already used. I could probably hook my saturn up to my TV tuner, but I doubt the quality will be good enough

You do know that you can resize images in photoshop, right?

btw, the pics are scaled to 2x size, they are 352x224 originally.

Thats too small for one, and of course I know I can resize pictures. The issue becomes the format (whatever x whatever pixels) and distortion, along with the fact that the screens still need to be of as good of quality as possible (not applicable to this one persay, but the size issue still exists)

Hello use filtering.

The screenshots are 1:1 native resolution, they are as good as the game can produce.
