I know at least two of the lights work. I forgot to look at the rest since they are under a portion of the marque that is not visible. (I have a four slot cab with a two slot marque at the moment.
I'll pull it off and run the diags to see if they all light.
If not can I remove the ones that are not working and just leave the working units for now until I get time and money to replace them all?
thanks

Hmmm....I never did it myself but I think you can..You can just clip/cut separate one of the two wires on the bulb the connects to the green panel PCB(as in the pick below) and leave the bulbs in place.
Just make sure nothing touches metal as it will fry something...and do this with the cab off as grounding something out may also fry something...Plus the shock from touching the two bulb wires connections hurts.
I'm not sure if the Driver-MV-ELA LCD Circuit Board itself will make noise ..if the bulbs are unplugged-cut......(I still need a verification on how this all works)
..........................................................
For Instance.
When I got my Big Red 4 slot two bulbs were out and I use to hear the high pitched noise coming from near the speakers..After finding out what it was(here) I disconnected the wire from the driver-MV-ELA LCD Circuit Board to the bulbs/MV-ELC LCD Panels and it stopped.
After that I bought up as many sets of used bulbs/MV-ELC LCD Panels I could find(Ebay)...eventually I found one set that had all 4 bulbs working just one needed the bulb connection to be soldered(got lucky) and I have a full working set in my Big Red...&.I sold a few other sets after that....Making full sets by transplanting and removing working and non working bulbs onto the green pcb panels.
I'm left with a lot of empty bulb green panels and a lot of dead bulbs...(I don't have any more good bulbs and I can't get them)
The bulbs are not fixable...besides maybe finding a broken spot on them that's a 99-1 chance that's not going to happen...
Then when I got my Two Slot cab both bulbs were blown(2 slot light panel) and I used to hear an even louder high pitched noise.
I disconnected the wire from the driver-MV-ELA LCD Circuit Board to the disconnected and it stopped/as I thought.....but then I later in time heard something again coming from the speaker area so I disconnected the wire from the driver-MV-ELA LCD Circuit Board to the 2 slot motherboard itself..it stopped then..
So even though the bulbs are disconnected the noise may still appear..I'm not sure on this but please note that just incase you still hear it...(I still need a verification on how this all works)
Later:
I replaced one bulb in the two slot, plugged everything back in and still had high pitchy noise when the game was set on the dead bulb.
Then I found another bulb and put it in and have two working bulbs in that cab with no noise.
This took a long time to do all this($$$

) and then(during) the replacements came out..
The next thing I'm going to do is put a set of 4 bulbs/MV-ELC LCD Panels in my Candy cab(eventually)......but I will buy the replacement bulbs instead of trying to find four original bulbs...(much,much easier)
................................................................................................................................
If you decide to replace the bulbs/MV-ELC LCD Panels change all of them as the replacements will be brighter then the old..
Also the old-original working bulbs....../MV-ELC LCD Panels......... can be resold...
................................................................................................................................
.........Old MV-ELC LCD Panels/back side of bulb.
