well, I am trying to hook some hyper 64 stuff up to my new cab....

I hook up an mvs 1 slot and I get sound. I hook up a pgm board and I get sound. I hook up any jamma board I have and get sound...

then I hook up a hyper 64 motherboard and game and get no sound.

Anyone have any idea of what the problem could be?

Rev 2 or rev 1? Also, do you have the sound knob turned all the way down?

I don't have the stereo cord hooked up..

Do I need that to get any sound at all?

There are two versions of the NG64.
I think its the earlier one that requires -5 volts for the sound op-amps.
That would be the first thing to check

Nope...

one of my cabs has -5v and my supernova won't get sound from these either. I haven't gotten sound from either of these, so I am guessing the other rev 1 I had was the different model?

cheacked another game and still nothing

Is this because of the model of REV 1? I had a buriki one kit and it played with full sound via the jamma harness.....

I will wire this in when I fix up the stereo/mono switch.

looking at the manual in the link above and I have a question:

I need some h64 help with the stereo audio....

Well here goes...

I have the cab set up right now and ground goes to the speaker -'s and the R and L audio go to the speaker +'s....(MVS)

So, here's my question...how is the front of the stereo setup hooked up? number wise..1,2,3,4?

like this?

1,2
3,4?

2,1
4,3?

1,3
2,4?

this is when looking at the manual posted that says:

1: spk -
2: spk +
3: spk 2 -
4: spk 2 +

So, here comes another question....

is speaker - on both just ground? and speaker + and speaker 2 + the audio that should be going to each speaker for stereo sound?

thanks for your help!!!!!
