Meh, no big loss. I've always thought he was pretty mediocre anyways.

That's very interesting. I don't really care myself, but I liked him more on The Daily Show.

He was ok on the daily show but the show really hit it's stride when Jon Stewart took over.

Jon Stewart is the Man, Killborn is mediocre. Truth hurts.

The Truth Hurts? I don't think there's anyone out there that would actually disagree with you.

Although he was pretty good on Sports Center.

I enjoyed him on The Daily Show. Never really got to see his late show because I've been working overnights for the last 7 years.

I don't care what he does, I hope he doesn't go back to ESPN. I never really cared for him--he always seemed pretty arrogant.

Kilborn rocked the daily show.

No other host anywhere was as big an asshole as he was on the daily show, and he really did fuck with people - even the people working on his staff, like the two old people that gave the moment of zen thing at the end... Anyone remember their last episode, where he wished them the best and then added that he's been sleeping with their daughter (who was one of the producers)...

CBS is so fucking bland, like all network tv stations. Taking the late late show for Kilborn was like placing his nuts in front of a microwave running at full power for all this time.

John Stewart is really lame. His style of humor is so gay it hurts to watch him without seeing him get beaten. Watching him reminds me that there's way too much evil in the world.

the earlier Daily Shows with Jon Stewart were pretty lame. it's only after all the other bit players on the show got more air time that the show really took off (Steven Colbert, Lewis Black, Mo Rocca etc)

Godspeed Craig, and KRACKATOA!!!!! :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:
As for the Daily Show, yeah, it truly came into it's stride with Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Watching Colbert do "This Week In God" a few days ago certainly had me in stitches.

I think Craig kilborn was a better daily show host than Jon stewart, but I also think the show is way better overall than it was during the kilborn era. DOn't know why. I just enjoy it more now I guess. Oh. And steven Colbert > *. Mo rocca was a big loss, but if colbert leaves, I don't know if the show will recover.

craig was great on the daily show. it was all about the 3 questions.
I liked his delay on delivery and all, norm mcdonald that did the
news segment on snl before the very, which never meant sense to me,
well received collin quin
who does his own comedian roundtable show on comedy central now similar to bill mahr.
anyways, I never really liked jon stewart myself, but I do like his other players
who do segments on the show now.

and btw, I thought the late late show was hella lame. I couldn't believe he was
actually doing all the lame jokes and dumb bits that he was.
conan has always been my show when staying up.

I guess that Craig Kilborn is a bit like Jim Rome- a very acquired taste.
Oh, and if I have to explain any of this, you would probably not understand. :loco:
