back on topic I quite like the title screen. I doesn't look great static but the crowd in the foreground animates (well it did in the video) and that makes it look better than a still shot.

HOWEVER: - Fio does look a bit like a bloke, lucky i play with Tama really.......

I wish that was true. Well, until now i played the game to mission 4 and i must say that i've seen a lot of rehashed graphics... furthermore i totaly miss the IREM Look'n Feel!!!

Hmm. Studio Aqua. Well, I would expect after Metal Slug 4, we'd see those guys in the music fold.

The good news? The music should kick major butt. Studio Aqua is straight quality music. They kick butt at doing game soundtracks. If they just make sure to pay heed to some of the well-known Metal Slug melodies we've grown to love, it could very well be better than ever.

The bad news? Looks like we can say goodbye to a chance of stereo music on the MVS. Sure, it'll probably sound spectacular since it'll be recorded studio music, but the loss of stereo is kind of a bummer at the same time. (Of course, it'll be in stereo on any CD soundtrack they decide to release) I'm already in line for a MS5 soundtrack disk and I haven't even gotten MS3 nor MS4's soundtrack CDs yet.

What I find funny is that the character select portraits do change a bit from one release to another. I guess even Fio is not safe from having a scary version of her, for at least one game. For some odd reason, it reminds me a little bit of that dude from Disney's Atlantis.
