The 3DO emulator is in its beta stages and since v1.4 was leaked to the public, you can download it here

For those of you that already have this, good for you. Just thought that I'd share it with those of you that do not.

Wasn't Road Rash and some cool platformer on 3DO?

The original Road Rash was on 3DO, and I think you're probably talkin' about Gex.

Also, the 3DO had easily the best port of Samurai Shodown back in the day, but today it's definitely not worth chasing down since the AES version is so affordable.

moved.

Why would you want to emulate the 3DO? Just buy one, they be cheap!

Nahh, Road Rash had been around forever, there were tons of Genesis and SNES versions before the 3DO, but the 3DO's version was amazing for its time. Now, Need For Speed started on the 3DO!

Dammit! 3DO is like my first 32bit system.

I still remembered late 1994 when I was like 12. Bought the freaking console with games like Way of the Warrior and nearly pissed when I saw how much blood the game has.

Also got stuff like Jurassic Park. (Park on the 3DO is a classic!)

A pity i sold it in 1996. WHY?
Cos I just have to play Resident Evil on the PS1.
As I get older, the thought of selling my 3DO with a pile of games for a PS1 = Idiocricy.

Hell, I didn't even made enough from my sale to purchase the PS1 console alone. Still have to like fork up $50 extra. (The PS1 was $299 when I sold my 3DO stuff for $240 or so)

Now it's time to get ISO versions of what I used to play back then if this 3DO emulator actually makes the cut!

This leaves me with one very important question:Why?

I know this has nothing to with the 3DO emulator (or does it?), but there was a Beavis and Butthead arcade game released using the hardware of 3DO.

Actually it never made it past the beta/testing stages and there were like very few ever made (one was given away in an MTV contest). So, if anything, I'd like to see them get closer to bringing that game to the masses.
