Flag hack

Flags are now in. I'm not too happy with the graphics I have seen thus far....

The location in the post might change as well, but the difficult part is done.

User CP -> Edit Profile

Drop Down menu near the bottom, 221 or so countries represented.

Anyway, the Europe flag I chose appears as a broken link for me. Is it my fault?

By the way, could you please upload the Catalan flag? It's yellow with 4 red strips. We had a petition for it a long time ago. BlackSpy also asked for the Scottish flag.

I also noticed you added all the smilies on the left of the reply box... Unfortunately, with my ridiculous 800x600 res, they take almost half of the horizontal room of my screen and the rteply box almost doesn't fit in my screen due to this. Is it possible to have the smilies in 5 rows instead of 4?

By the way, before the change to vBulletin, when you pressed on a smilie it appeared where the cursor was, but now it always appears at the bottom of the message you are typing.

Sorry to ask for that much things, I thought you would like to know.

OK, I prepared the Catalan flag as a 30x16 gif, around 100 bytes. I will e-mail it to you if you provide your address. By the way, I see there's room for the Yahoo, AIM and ICQ, but what about Messenger?

Finally, I noticed you put the quote/edit/etc. bar on top of posts, like in the old board, that's very nice! :buttrock:

God, the position of every button or graphic is changing like crazy every now and then in the past few hours! :eye: :eye:

Only way to test is to make the changes globally unfortunately. I *think* we are getting close.

Got the European flag.

Unfortuantely, the template to add flags is hiding from em currently!

Well, personally I don't like the flags being in the top right corner, I lioked it more under the avatar. Thanks for the European flag by the way.

So you can't upload any more flags? That's a pity. I just noticed you've got the Canarian Islands flag, it's so funny to have that one and not the Catalan :lol:

We are still experiementing....

I think the left side is too heavy, but it is hard to relocate things....

kws@radix.net is my email address, but I need to figure out why the profile that handles flags is hiding. Its wierd....

I know like the posts lay-out much more. Still, in the reply page, the left side, with all the smilies in only 4 rows, is way too wide.

I've send you the Catalan flag, I'd be great if it could be uploaded.

By the way, I don't really like having all that stuff (post count, pm, etc) in the bottom of the post, as if the post is very long then you don't know who they belong to unless you scroll up again to check the username of the poster.

He's still a mod and so are the other mods, only FTL and Neo Mike have the rank of moderator under their name. The rest have normal ranks, except for Wasabi he's the "King of Spammers"
