*puts up force barrier, to block force choke*

How dare you mix the good gaces of Star Wars with the bland, all to serious stylings of Star Terk? If they had not already filled that Rancor pit outside my house, I would give you such a tossing.

P S: I've decided, strawberry cupcakes are the best, because my little sister made some yesterday. Oh, I do so love living with family that bakes.

[B Figo Ronaldo Zidane Beckham Crespo. If I ever find myself chatting to anyone for whom English isn't their first language and they struggle with their vocabulary, I always resort to the international language of football. And now the yanks are slowly starting to join in too. Well done ;) :D [/B]

You should know those people don't play football... ;)

Zinedine Zidane I'm sure he played for Juventus as somepoint.

Well, it's not exactly on the cool side to make reference to either of them, but I perfer Star Wars over Star Trek.

I just thought it was odd that someone made a Star Wars reference at me when I was only making light of Star Trek.

But I'm forced to agree with a older post: engrish is the best!

Speaking seriously, the english are not the best, but they rock, too... The english babes, I mean :glee:

Verythrax, a proud native latin-derived language speaker. Eat this, barbarians!

SWEET! I was here to witness this glorious event!
:buttrock: :buttrock:

English is overall cool language - user friendly
French is nice for the ladies and maybe Italian
Japanese is cool as hell for being pissed off
Spanish is good to know in Texas and California.

Perkele suomi on parempaa kuin englanti! Suomenkielessä on paljon kivoja sanoja.

Yes yes English rules... But aren't there more Chinese speakers than native English speakers? Then Chinese should be the international language! Okay just kidding, I prefer English over it.

P.S. Posting here in the international forum is sort of addictive. It's kind of like War Room light or something.

heh

...and we German barbarians swept the remains of the roman empire from the face of the earth after it had become decadent, foul and weak. :)

Memento silva Teutoburgensis... us vs. Varus and his wimpy tapioka eaters, and the result was 2:1 for us after penalty kicking.

erm...

What was the topic again?

Ah yes, languages. I like my own (German), it's may sound harsh and loud to non-native speakers, but it's quite refined and extremly variable. I also like English and Dutch. I'm learning Dutch at the mo but the language isn't as easy as it seems from my German perspective...

Also, I wanted to learn Arabic to impress the owner of the veggie store around the corner, but I've given up on it... the letters look like tracks of a fly with wet paint on their legs, and that right-to-left thing wears me out.

You're clueless.

German and Arabic are the best angry. :smirk:

Spanish and Japanese are the best for hyperactive screaming. :annoyed:
