Bonjour mes amis!

My sister is taking A-Level French and has a presentation to do next week. The presentation is all in French and is based on a topic of the global environment.

There are a few words and phrases she is having difficulty translating, so I wondered if any of you guys would be kind enough to translate the following for me :)

Rainforest

Soil erosion

Global warming

carbon dioxide

hardwoods

endangered

evapotranspiration (no, I'm not joking...)

Many thanks! Merci beaucoup!

Does any of this help ?

Forêt tropicale humide
Ravinement
Réchauffage global(mondial)
Bioxyde carbonique
Bois durs
Mis en danger
can't help with Evapotranspiration (so just pronounce it in english)

I used this site for the translation, so some of these may be very literal :)

Rainforest = Forêt pluyante
Soil erosion = Érosion du sol
Global warming = Chaufage Global
carbon dioxide = Dioxide de Carbone
hardwoods = Bois durs
endangered = en danger / ( être en danger )
evapotranspiration = ???? :confused:
